@SalBrinton @UKHouseofLords 1/2 My mum was asked if she wanted to terminate me 3 days before I was born at 28 weeks. Just because I have DS, my life is still not considered as important as ‘neuro typical’ kids. My mum has to fight for me to get what others consider a right. This is why we need the DS Bill.

@SalBrinton @UKHouseofLords 2/2 It doesn’t diminish other disabilities. However, many other disabilities are not explicitly listed in pre-natal advice as a reason to terminate a pregnancy because of the supposedly poor quality of life for baby and parents. This Bill gives me hope for my future.

One of my favourite things about where I live is that we have our very own @shaunthesheep @aardman store!! And it raises money for Bristol Children’s Hospital which I visit on a regular basis!!
