@AngryBlackLady I've played with and against trans players, and they do not make the sport unsafe or unfair. If people actually cared about women's sports there are plenty of things they could do, but they don't. It's just an excuse for bigotry.
@AngryBlackLady As someone who's played women's rugby for years, this drives me crazy. There are things that make it less safe, but it's stuff like bad pitches and inexperienced refs and lack of coaching not individual players regardless of gender.
@Ikat0@Cooperstreaming@UtopiaCafeJon If you go to Facebook in your browser (not the app) and click on your profile the address is something like https://t.co/Z2kA7ITt7W - that's the easiest way to find it I think. They've changed the way the privacy settings look lately (of course) so the old guides don't work
@prettypinkpansy @JanelleCShane I do wonder if the current models are better, but I'm not sure it's good enough to generate stitch counts that match across lines. Even actual people working with the physical yarn can't always do that!
@prettypinkpansy @JanelleCShane Knitting patterns are close to code, but because it describes physical reality it doesn't track. The output confidently telling you to cast on 20 stitches, and then the next line giving you instructions that only work over 25 stitches, is hysterical if you understand the joke.
@dennisdiclaudio @LuxAlptraum Depends on the denomination. My mom used to bake bread for communion (at our fairly leftist episcopal church). We passed it around the congregation and you tore off a bit.
@BLAM_Marie @clairewillett I do that sometimes, mostly for marking up engineering drawings. Sometimes being able to see the whole page (even half scale) is helpful for my brain. Then if the person I'm working with is remote scanning and sending back makes the most sense, and the notes get saved to the job
@UrsulaV My doctor also listened when, in the same visit, I said I thought I had exercise induced asthma. She gave me an inhaler and said "if it helps you probably do". There's nothing like playing rugby actually able to breath after 15 years of having compromised lungs. Revolutionary.
@UrsulaV I realized when I went to bed at 10 and woke up at 9:30 still tired that *something* was wrong. Luckily my doctor didn't have an issue sending me for a sleep study when I asked about it.
@lesbianjimkirk@UrsulaV I think you can get little cotton sleeves to put on the mask that might help - I've been thinking about it since I have a humidifier CPAP and it definitely makes my face damp. Also sometimes it refuses to reseal and then leaks.

So just rampant conspiracy driving it, and causing shortages of a drug people (and animals!) actually need. cool cool cool
