How do you guys actually grow on X now?
Was at peak back when it was called Twitter.
Stopped when X got banned in my country and now...
When I started again I have nothing but old school techniques to grow and all of them are outdated.
3/ Budget increases fix none of these.
Here's what I did instead:
→ Pulled frequency data — sitting at 4.1
→ Checked CTR trend over 14 days — top creative down 60%
→ Launched 3 fresh creatives, didn't touch budget
→ CPA back to target within 5 days
5/ Before you touch the budget, check:
- Frequency (above 3 = fatigue territory)
- CTR trend over 14 days
- Creative age (how long has this ad been running?)
The answer's almost never more spend

No fluff. Just what works inside accounts
2/ What actually causes "slow sales" 99% of the time:
→ Creative fatigue (same people, same ad, 4-5 times)
→ Audience saturation
→ Learning phase disruption from too many edits
→ Offer/page mismatch — the ad is fine, the page is losing them
1/ More budget doesn't fix a slow account.
It just accelerates whatever is already happening.
Campaigns working → more budget helps.
Campaigns broken → more budget burns faster.
Feels fkin awesome!!!
When?
- I Optimize the account
- Make Changes
- Get results
Not even hours after the changes are made.
And the best part is the changes I made channeled the spend to the right place and we got our first sale who bought the upsell as well.
5/ The kill decision isn't about today's numbers.
It's about the DIRECTION of the numbers.
Bad CPA on day 1 = noise.
Bad CPA trending worse over 3 days = signal.

I almost paused the campaign that saved the account.
Day 3. CPA was 3x target.
Client was messaging me every hour.
Every instinct said kill it.
I didn't.
Here's why:
4/ Day 6: CPA hit target.
Day 9: became the top performer in the entire account.
If I killed it on day 3, the client loses the best campaign they ever ran.
