FC Barcelona has approved a 25-year agreement with Babylon Park. The agreement covers the operation of a Barça-branded entertainment center of approximately 900 m² at Camp Nou and the development of other centers in Catalonia.

The vote was highly controversial: 252 votes (56%) in favor, 158 votes (35%) against, 31 blank votes and 10 abstentions.

Babylon Park is an Israeli-origin entertainment/theme park chain. The company has parks in Israeli cities such as Tel Aviv, Haifa, Ashdod and Beersheba, as well as international locations such as London in England, Belgrade in Serbia, and Madrid/Leganés in Spain.

The company, which contributes to the Israeli economy, is therefore criticized by some pro-Palestinian circles as one of the indirect financiers of the military operations and war crimes in Gaza.
