Rather than making ordering food and drink more efficient, it actually adds steps to the process AND if you want to order additional items during the film you HAVE to open your phone. I really wish @YouTube would update their content guidelines regarding particular kinds of content. Their policies actively dissuade creators from making content aimed at ADDRESSING the very problems they're trying to pretend don't exist with those guidelines. They create a situation where we all have to obfuscate our language and play stupid games in order to have the necessary, important conversations, and make it so that it's extremely financially risky to talk about the most important topics we're facing today.

How can we fight against racism if we can't show the things they're saying while commenting on it and actively condemning it?

How can we educate people about things like Fascism without showing both historical and contemporary examples, when that content is immediately flagged as hateful content?

Why do we have to say childish shit like "unalive" rather than murder or suicide just to get around your primitive system? Everyone knows what we mean, so why do we have to play this game? This is explicitly NOT content for kids, so why are we pretending like it is?

These words don't have magical innate power to cause harm, it's how they're used, the context in which they're used, and whatever commentary goes along with it that should determine if it's "ok for advertisers" or "dangerous or harmful".
