Statement from the former staff of Buta Productions, which differs considerably from what was recently published in an awful article.
Please support them, they will need it in the coming weeks/months! ⤵️
@lissbevs Everybody associated with ButaPro has immediately left the studio. We're now organizing in a different place, trying to get current projects to completion under a different banner. Please support the hard work of my colleagues when our projects come out!!!
I'm horrified to see that it was much worse than anything I could conceive and I feel so sorry for Maryco and also all the people that Fede hurt throughout the years.
I fully support all the victims and my heart is with them.
I wish I could have done more and regret not taking more concrete actions.
I haven't been around much but if anyone feels the need to talk to me, my door is open, here or on discord.
The situation is revolting and I feel as betrayed as I assume many others do. My thoughts are with wholly with maryco and with helping affected people regroup.
If you haven't found a way to reach out yet, please let me know.
Thanks for watching Fate/strange Fake #10!
I drew the LO from the landing at the start of this video to right before Excalibur shoots out, as well as a good portion of the genga and some nigen.

"If the animation stands out too much, it can distract from the story, so I avoided going overboard, but I made sure to be meticulous. It's not a work that relies on flashy animation, after all."
"Of course, it's better to have high quality, but when there's too much movement, your eyes get pulled to that. Even in scenes where I want people to focus on the actors' performances or the music, if the visuals move excessively, attention shifts there instead. That might be what people call sakuga (amazing animation), but sometimes that's not what I'm trying to convey. Deciding where to move things and where not to is something I've been conscious of ever since the storyboard stage."
Denmoku director Minoru Ota said he wishes to push the boundaries of expression in anime backgrounds. It's clear they don't want to do it in just one way: there are moments of high abstraction, of both blending & contrasting character layers, radical accents in a drab world, etc
