On this day 25 years ago, Florida State baseball scored four runs in the eighth to rally past Auburn and advance to the NCAA Super Regionals, 9-6. After Richie Smith's home run to lead off the inning tied the game, John-Ford Griffin's RBI double put the Seminoles ahead to stay.
