Proud memory: first @TEDx talk allowed in Singapore on the topic of sexual wellness. Thanks to those who tried in the past and paved the road for this!
#intimacy#FemTech#sextech
This @TEDx Talk by one of our founders, Erin, highlights a practice that we care so deeply about: giving each other permission. Permission to be curious, to inquire, and to treat sex like it’s normal…because it is. (1/2)

Funny, this is the same reminder I'd give others re: sexual well-being -- YOU know your body best; YOU know your sexuality best; YOU know your relationship best. You do you.
But as a founder, I've definitely fallen into the trap of over-listening to others' opinions & advice
@namedotcom our google suite acct was suspended w/out notice & explanation 3 days ago. We're currently fundraising + all emails to us r bouncing, we can't access Drive (files!) or Calendar (can't see scheduled calls!)! I keep telling ur team that this is urgent. PLEASE FIX THIS!!
One thing that I learned to do early in my career as a CEO was to set a 'social contract' with anyone new whom I'd work closely with. I found this to be a useful way to set rules/expectations on how to work together.
I wanted to share what I tell founders in our social contract:
What I want for Mother's Day:
1. Abortion access for all
2. Affordable childcare
3. A decreasing maternal mortality rate
4. Federally paid parental leave
5. For Motherhood to be a career BOOST, not a handicap
6. Continued birth parent care
7. Perinatal mental health care
@Hazlina@myfriendjanine Thanks for asking the question... I was wondering the same thing! At first, I was encouraged — maybe we make up a large % so don't need to report on us🤞? But alas...
@crptoct@johnpasmore@ahanabanana@shriyanevatia Exactly. In any scenario, we'd have to check our calendars anyways. I'd rather just do it once and have control over choosing a time that works best for me rather than the back and forth (and multiple openings of my calendar). Waste of time.
Guy at daycare: Did you really just drop off 4 kids? Are they all yours?
Me: Yep
Guy: Why would you do that? Why not just stay home?
Me: *stares blankly and then gets in car to go to work and do important things that I care about and make me whole*
Don’t be this guy.
@myfriendjanine You've won the napping lottery...And only those who are parents can truly, fully appreciate what this means! Our 3.5 yo stopped napping 3 months ago 😭
@ericbahn Feel you on the emotional resilience part! Glad to hear it was better. We've just experienced toddler night terrors...that, is another parenting badge 😂
@ericbahn 3 mths - that's rough! If he's still napping, probably time to drop the nap. What's helped for us: night light b/c he kept waking up scared (a globe that when turned on, shows star constellations), more time connecting 1:1 (he regressed after his baby sis showed up)
@lessin As a parent, sending a scheduling link is the most efficient way to manage my time: makes sure I don't double book; there's no back & forth; I don't have to scan my entire day/week just to book a meeting. Not sure why this is considered a power play? @StartupParent
