According to New Gazette released on September 23,2022 by Ministry of Health and Family Welfare of India,NEXT will be applicable from 2024.
As stated in sub section(3) of 15 of the act,word"three years" is replaced by "four years".

@JiRongMFA @Humayyun8 Increasing flights is a good step Ma'am but quarantine charges are extremely high . Most of the students cannot afford to quarantine in cities like Beijing and Shanghai. It would be nice if you forward our concerns for direct flights.

@Humayyun8 hello already conveyed your concerns. flights will gradually increase. tickets price may decrease later. As to connected flights I've asked MFA Consular Department colleagues many times & the answer is yes. Still waiting for explanation from embassy.
