A few days ago, her family reached out to us and asked that I help announce that Rose Benter Apondi had gone missing just before the Easter weekend. The last communication anyone received from her was a heartbreaking text message in which she said she had been gang raped. After that, her phone was switched off.

Sadly, Rose Benter Apondi has since been found but she was found dead.

This is a devastating loss, and my heart goes out to her family, friends, and everyone who knew and loved her. May God grant them strength, comfort, and peace during this painful time.
