Late night #IronViz submission as practice for Iron Viz: Student Edition! Inspiration always strikes at the worst time, so looking over my viz now I can spot all the mistakes I need to fix😅.

Regardless, I'm proud of the final product! Check it out here: https://t.co/l3VoxOH43W

I also want to extend a special congratulations to Branden Kornell, the well-deserved winner! His visualization gave me a newfound appreciation for the Boston Marathon—though I may not be running it anytime soon. 🏃‍♂️

Super excited for my second #VizOfTheDay! I had fun exploring the #GamesNightViz dataset on video games.

I wanted this viz to match the aesthetics of 8-bit arcade games, so I even downloaded an emulator for some hands-on research! 🎮👾

Thank you @tableaupublic for the gift! It will make for wonderful dorm decor 😄

[Jane Kamata @thisisjanek]

@hthr_cox Sure! I was playing around with different ways to visualize the years in office for individuals and thought the lines were an interesting element I could fit in somewhere. Although not super practical for showing data, it filled up the corner well. 😄

[Jane Kamata @thisisjanek]

Thank you for hosting the competition! Loved the opportunity to create a viz showcasing the accomplishments of women while focusing on an ever-timely topic!

With every viz, I try something new, so this time it's Tableau Prep and stories (somewhat inspired by @Lodhaviz 's International Students viz)
