At the Nogales port of entry today, I was hoping to not see familiar faces from my last visit 10 days ago, given that those families had already been waiting 8 long nights to seek #asylum protection.

But I did: A Mexican mom w/ 3 little girls who have waited 18 nights.

This includes 807 miles of pipeline, a gas treatment plant, a liquefaction facility, & a LNG terminal that would process 20,000,000 metric tons of gas per year. (1/9)🧵

They have been stripped from committee assignments and their member ID’s have been shut off.
