Australia’s next census is scheduled for Tuesday, 11 August 2026.

This could be more important than many people think. Its results will inform our government which direction the people believe our society should take.

With that in mind, I urge all patriotic Aussies to indicate that they are Christian, even if you don’t go to church, pray or read the Bible. Even atheists should recognise that we are a culturally Christian nation.

Don’t consider it a proclamation of faith.

Consider it a statement that we acknowledge our society’s morality, values, rights, freedoms and general beliefs were drawn from Christianity and that we wish to maintain that heritage as a fundamental part of our national identity going forward.

Foreign students are flooding universities and Australian students are being forced to do group assignments with people who can’t speak English.

In many cases, one or two students must do all the work for the entire group or risk receiving a fail result.

The universities’ addiction to revenue from foreign students is putting the education of Australians at risk, and Labor has a plan to make it worse.

It should be a simple requirement - if you arrive here to study, you must have a fluent level of English.

When I was at university I also found myself being forced into group assignments, often with people of poor English. At least they would offer to do most of the work provided I gave the presentation. I thought this was unfair but they felt it was me who was getting the rough end of the deal.

When I challenged these groups with the departmental head I was told that I won't always get to choose who I work with in my future employment. I agreed but argued it was a reasonable expectation that the people I would be working with in future could speak adequate English.
