Imo the problems really started last summer. Qualifying for the CL papered over a very poor second half of the season. Doan and Jonny were the wrong profiles for the system, no proper 6 was signed and Tuta was never replaced.

The rest is history.

Sorry bro, gutted it didn’t get done in the end. tbf, from what I was told everything had been agreed, but if the owner doesn’t give the final green light then there’s not much you can do. Two hours of complete silence after the deadline from the media tells its own story tbh. Nobody seemed to know what was going on.

@AdlerNews Imo some of the problems have just been pushed down the road. Half of these players will be back next summer and then you’ll probably have to move them on for even less. Especially if we miss out on Europe again and end up needing the money 🫡
