@Bikery1966@DerekSynnott The most memorable one was reported by a third party driver & dashcam, driving the opposite way to our vehicle which overtook a cyclist and squeezed between the third party and cyclist
Police sent us the footage, driver informed us of his own free will of the police outcome
@Bikery1966@DerekSynnott We don't usually find out as its personal to them, until the company gets notification that they're approaching a points threshold that puts their licence & job at risk
We get involved when it's an immediate breach of company driver standards or a serious breach of H&S policy
@DerekSynnott@Bikery1966 Incorrect
Close passing a cyclist falls under driving without due care and attention
As a manager at a logistics company with 300 drivers I regularly have to give drivers details to police for such offences
Talk about burying your head in the sand pal
@markwolfy@WYP_WKBikeCops What a stupid post
The image shows the pedals are not connected to anything, therefore it's propelled by the motor alone. Likely the police also witnessed further proof
Bald tyre at the rear too
Its been modified to be an electric motorcycle. And you know it
Quit trolling
@DaveWallsworth Ive never been in one, but, maybe because of the size and dimensions they look like they're going much slower when taking off and landing that give the impression it's cumbersome
Of all the planes I've flown on, the A350 was the most impressive
@20splentyforus Ive always been fairly skeptical of 20mph speed limits, as I found them hard to keep to when driving, car shuddering, staying in second gear etc
I recently switched to a hybrid car and when running at low speeds, such as 20mph, its a joy to drive so slowly, using EV power
@but_cyclists@wildey_1@JeremyVineOn5 I dont think he understands why taxation on vehicles to use the road exists
Roads are free for everyone to use in the UK
The taxation etc, is a very different reason
@wildey_1@but_cyclists@JeremyVineOn5 You consider road use eligibility to be determined by prices paid by the person using it
Its not
Anyone can use the roads. In the absence of pavement, I can hike in the road for free and have more rights to do so than if I was in my car
Your road use eligibility is incorrect
@wildey_1@but_cyclists@JeremyVineOn5 Don't be bloody stupid
I also hike alot, in the peak district, should I put bloody licence plates on my ass and pay insurance to do that?
Stop being thick AF
@wildey_1@but_cyclists@JeremyVineOn5 I cycle on the roads
I also drive my car on the roads
I bought a car 2 days ago and paid "luxury car tax" of Β£640 for the year
I can use whichever means of road use i want
So your point means "fuck all"
@Dils41@coopers_left@PoliceScotland We can only assume you're not a driver
Try watching the video again, but this time ignore every vehicle and just observe the overhead and nearside road signs
Always best to think, before commenting something that will make you look silly
