@seanlinehan@typesfast Enjoyed reading this thread. Agree with the above. Every forwarder is going to have to have a plan for how to bring AI into their org - via their TMS or otherwise - because clearly the way we do things now is not going to be the way things are done in the (near) future.
@PaulPage@cmroberson06 I’d add something else: actions. Visibility needs to be actionable for all operational processes within a shipment lifecycle. Ie what do I do when my container is at X.
mRNA vaccines are awesome. But vaccines based on artificial proteins might be even better.
Talk about timing: “At my 2019 Ph.D. defense, I began by saying, ‘I'm about to tell you why this family of viruses has could cause a pandemic"...

Fav weird productivity hack when editing text and I overwrite something I want to keep. Ctrl-zzz, copy, ctrl-yyy, paste. Feels like I’m defying the laws of word processing. Just me? Ok.
@cgledhill Could you use drones to recharge batteries from wherever? Or is there a weight issue? (If so swarms?) IMO big barrier to adoption in large urban areas is no-one has a front drive or even a regular parking spot.
Qu. to my biochem friends: can you PCR an effective mRNA vaccine remotely (eg in a pharmacy), kind of like 3D-Printing but for vaccines? Seems like it would solve a lot of future vaccine logistics issues.
