for 8 months. I opened it maybe twice.

So I built EON: a subscription tracker for iOS.

Free, no ads, no premium tier. Because a subscription tracker
that charges a subscription felt wrong.

小红书上刷到一个新发布的订阅管理软件：EON 订阅管理，free（但苹果商店把打赏功能标注成订阅）
开发者有多年设计经验，还得是高要求有审美的开发者，使用下来非常流畅。
并且最近在体验他还未发布的记账软件，功能非常之多 （非��有想象力，但功能都源于生活），可以看出是经过生活实践打磨的产品。

Claude handles the coding flow, and when I need visual assets, I can leave that task for Codex to jump in and generate them.

Why make it either/or? I want the whole toolbox.🥰

This week, EON Subscription saw a small download spike after I posted a “limited-time free” note on Xiaohongshu. The app is actually free forever, but the title got people to check it out and download. I even received a tip. But I still no idea how X works though.

After a week of pushing EON hard, we finally hit 16 downloads! That’s 2x last week’s number. We’ve never had this many users before 😂

In some browsers, like Comet, I can log in to App Store Connect, but I can’t see my app analytics or manage distribution. Is this because of Apple’s privacy or security policy? Are some browsers not fully supported?

Added a new subscription panel to help manage all your subscriptions. With AI taking off in 2026, subscription costs have basically been growing exponentially. 😂

I really miss Atlas. Ever since OpenAI announced that it would be shut down, it’s felt like it was already gone. Not everyone uses only one browser. We need an AI assistant that works like a browser, but isn’t Chrome. Chrome is my primary browser, but I still need a secondary one

I think AI can solve problems that matter to me, even if not many other people care about them.

3/ Halfway through, I added a joke feature: it assigns you
one of 16 "subscription personalities" based on what you pay for.

I got "Code Artisan" — tool stack bigger than my code stack.

The joke feature is now the thing early users mention most.
