Another day. Another reminder that we refuse to let Ochanya’s story fade into silence.

This 13-year-old girl from Benue State was sent to live with “family” for schooling and safety. Instead, from the age of 8, she was repeatedly raped by her uncle Andrew Ogbuja and his son Victor Ogbuja.

The years of abuse left her with vesicovaginal fistula (VVF). She suffered in silence, smiled through the pain, and eventually died in October 2018.

Andrew was acquitted by the court in 2022.
Victor remains a fugitive walking free, no sustained manhunt, no fresh wanted notice, no real pressure from the authorities even years later.

The continued silence from @BenuePoliceNG, @benuestategovt, and @PoliceNG is complicity that protects the guilty while Nigerian girls keep paying with their lives.

We demand:
Arrest Victor Ogbuja NOW.
Re-open the full case.
Deliver real justice and systemic change.

Most women with PCOS spent years being told their symptoms were just stress or just irregular periods. By the time they got diagnosed, the damage was already compounding. Here's what your body was trying to tell you and why ignoring it has a price.

PCOS is a hormonal disorder affecting 1 in 10 women of reproductive age. It is not just about ovarian cysts. It is insulin resistance, androgen excess, and a hormonal disruption that quietly touches your metabolism, skin, fertility and mental health all at once.

How do you actually know if you have it? You need labs and imaging, not guesswork. Ask your doctor to check your androgens, LH/FSH ratio, fasting insulin, AMH and prolactin. A pelvic ultrasound checks for follicle clusters on your ovaries. Diagnosis requires at least 2 of 3 criteria, irregular cycles, elevated androgens or polycystic ovaries. Get the numbers. Don't assume.

Before you even get to a doctor your body is already sending signals. Irregular or skipped periods. Acne that doesn't respond to anything you put on your face. To every young woman reading this at 17, 20, 24. You do not have the luxury of waiting until you want kids to take this seriously. The hormonal environment you build in your 20s is the fertility foundation you carry into your 30s. Insulin resistance does not pause because you are not ready for children yet. Fight it now while the window is still wide open.

The good news is that caught early PCOS is highly manageable. A low glycemic anti-inflammatory diet stabilizes insulin. Resistance training is one of the most powerful tools available to you. Myo-inositol supplementation has strong evidence behind it. Prioritizing sleep matters more than most people realize because cortisol directly worsens androgen excess. Metformin or hormonal therapy may be needed depending on your labs.

But if ignored the compounding is brutal. Insulin resistance progresses to Type 2 diabetes. Chronic inflammation damages your cardiovascular system. The uterine lining builds without shedding and endometrial cancer risk rises. Fertility becomes severely compromised. Depression and anxiety rates are significantly elevated in women with unmanaged PCOS. This is not fear mongering. This is biology doing exactly what it does when signals go unanswered.

Your symptoms are not a personality flaw. They are not something to manage with concealer and painkillers. Get tested. Find a doctor who actually listens. Start managing now and not when you are already trying for a baby. Because by then you will wish you had started today.

This year makes it 5 years that I Victoria Orenze have not gone through THE TOLLGATE. I was there physically, i barely made it before we all watched live online the killings with our eyes and yet, it was and has be denied by our politicians and leaders as though what we saw was not real.
My heart bled that year and I made the decision to boycott tollgate until some form of justice is seen. I also refuse to forget in a hurry what happened there, the blood 🩸 that was shed. And for every time I am in traffic that could have been avoided if I took the tollgate, I am reminded to curse evil in my nation🇳🇬, speak against evil with every opportunity I get and pray harder to my GOD to deliver us from unreasonable and wicked politicians and leaders who will never ADMIT ANY TRUTH!

So when I write or speak and say pharaohs don’t know how to let go only GOD delivers from their hands you come and tell me it’s not by prayer or talking, we need to do something.

I ask you:-
What are you doing??
What can you sacrifice?
What can you boycott??
What inconvenience are you willing to go through?
