@Sturmpioneer44 @gnomepillen @FischerKing64 Except they do. There are about 12-14 suicides/100,000 in the US. But if you look at gun suicides (25k) as a percent of gun owners (~80 mil) you’d get about 30/100,000. Japan is 12.2 and S Korea is 21
@j0ekerzredstone@CBSNews Literally the headline and very first line of the article say the *defense* was trying to call the FBI informant to the stand… I know it’s difficult to make it that far
@ToadFrog1925@LombardiHimself The defense held them WAY below their average yards (404 avg, 269 today), yards per pass, yards per rush attempt. Hurts with a 72 passer rating. 5/15 3rd downs. Penalties were terrible but a D without a QB who can drive is cooked too
@Chris26353343@briebriejoy Someone rolling tanks down the street and dropping bombs on you to take over your country isn’t just “stealing”, they’re also trying to kill you.
@Chris26353343@briebriejoy Lmao yes, a full scale military invasion of a sovereign nation and a kid jacking a car are obviously the same thing. Your logic is unimpeachable
@Chris26353343@briebriejoy Now you’re making up future crimes to justify this? Suddenly doesn’t have anything to do with putting the people he stole from at risk of starving. He’s a bad kid once and always so deserved what he got?
@Chris26353343@briebriejoy The point is, the scenario of immediately losing housing and starving because of losing a car is unlikely. A person would have options, even if they are shitty, limited options. A dead child has no options.
@Chris26353343@briebriejoy Insurance, buying/renting/borrowing all kinds of other vehicles, you prob have food in your fridge and a little money to buy at least some time. The situation of “if I don’t have *this* car *right now* my family will starve” is not plausible
@Chris26353343@briebriejoy Except if your honest, that’s not really the choice. It undoubtedly would be a hardship to have a car stolen but I can think of a dozen things that I would do to not reach the point of a homeless, starving family after losing a specific vehicle.
@closrod08 @TheRickWilson If BLM protested me I’d probably have shot a black person unjustly or covered it up. If Antifa showed up, I’d… be a fascist. Don’t care for either of those.
@closrod08 @TheRickWilson I like where everyone’s heart is at but they’re reading the question wrong. I’d rather the Jan 6 crowd disagree with and protest me cause then I’d be sure I was on the right side of the debate.
