Good Morning Family.
So, yesterday I breached my $10K account with @EquityEdgeUK after being up 5%.

How is that possible? Overconfidence, greed, and other emotions could've played a role but I'll be talking about what led to mine.

On the first trading I took 2 trades which I closed one at TP and was holding a position on the other which could've passed this account.

Now to where things get messy.

The second day was full of opportunities as well but due to indiscipline getting in, instead of holding that trade, I went on to search for more trades so I could pass the account faster.
Now where most traders get it wrong is that in the search for speed, we most times lose accuracy and precision.

Took 2 trades which ended in swift losses but did I quit trading for the day as per my rule?
No.
I revenge-traded.
Taking a total of 7 trades in a day.

The ultimate result?
A well deserved love letter 😂

The lessons you should pick from these are:
1. Don't be in a hurry to pass that evaluation or get that payout. Follow the process.
2. Your trading rules are there for your benefit. Disregard them at your own peril.
3. One act of indiscipline can undo 2 weeks of work. Be mindful of this.

Regardless of this setback I won't be giving up anytime soon and neither should you. I'll be getting another account with @EquityEdgeUK and pushing again.
