stop saying my standards are “too high” just because I intend to marry a plucky Victorian archeologist who wears a cursed amulet and knows how to throw a dagger and wins around-the-world races in a hot-air balloon that she built herself.

When grandmothers were young, there was a milkmaid named Ophelia. She was cursed by a fey cardinal. She cut off their hair and feared a Princess, and finally the snow melted away.
I ' M S O C O N F L I C T E D. on one hand seeing Nikolai's antics on screen would be a blast but on the other hand if they fuck up my shitlord supreme there will be hell to pay
I'm at page 227 of the novelization of The Nutcracker and the Four Realms and honestly, if the film contained even half the information I've gotten it would have been a much better film and would have made a lot more sense. I get that it wouldn't work because---
Also, there is a character in the book that isn't in the film that does things that would have closed up a lot of plot holes and I honestly can't figure out why they didn't include her.
The fact that the track written for the Polichinelles in the Nutcracker and the Four Realms soundtrack wasn't included in the film is a shame because it's one of my faves and it's carnival-esque sound would have lent itself well.
we found him! we spotted him in the backyard at about 8 this morning and called the owners, they managed to catch him and gave up 200$ reward which we tried to refuse but they insisted we put it toward christmas. I'm just glad a kitty is out of this cold snow
a neighbours indoor cat got out today so the hunt is already on. food and water is out on the front porch in our little shelter bin. will commence search shortly. if you're in the area and see a mostly white cat that seems skittish, let me know because his owners are desperate
so my period kinda totally fucked off from may until september and now it comes with a whole new world of side effects and I did NOT sign up for this ride
I may have discovered the problem. it seems the update literally deleted all kobo apps off my kobo reader meaning the kobo device actually can't do a single thing it was created specifically to do.
I updated my Kobo and suddenly my Kobo apps/books wont work and its like??? whats the point of a update that would render the reader unable to use the device?
if anyone was wondering: yes I heard the Penny Dreadful news, and no I'm not entirely excited because it is an entirely different setting and time period that I'm not particularly interested in.
