Madhya Pradesh’s only medical university “MP Medical Science University” in Jabalpur, is finally shutting down.

It was started in 2011 with big plans to handle all medical, dental, nursing, paramedical and AYUSH courses in the state.

But things never really worked out. It didn’t get enough funds, never had a proper campus or full-time staff, and kept messing up exam schedules and results. Over the years, the system just collapsed with no real structure or accountability.
