Many people thought @grass Diamonds would be converted directly into $GRASS tokens.

That's not what the moderator said.

According to a Grass moderator:
– Diamonds = a visual representation of your Points
– They're not a separate reward
– Both Uptime Points and Network Points are used to calculate your airdrop allocation

Now here's my theory 👇

I don't think Diamonds are useless.

From what we've seen, Diamonds seem to reflect your real node activity, such as:

– How long your Grass Lite Node has been actively running
– Which device(s) are actively earning
– Your overall legitimate node activity
– The more your node stays active, the more Diamonds you earn.

So to me, Diamonds could act as proof that your activity is genuine.

For example...

If someone is farming with multiple devices, abusing the system, or running suspicious activity, they may not receive Diamonds in the same way.

That makes me think Diamonds could be an anti-sybil signal to identify real contributors.

So while they may not convert directly into $GRASS, they could still play a role in eligibility or even boost your final allocation.

⚠️ This is only my theory based on the current information.

Nothing has been officially confirmed by the Grass team.

They reserved 450M $DS tokens for the community airdrop.

At first, when they announced 450M $DS for the airdrop, almost everyone thought the total supply would be around 10B.

That would've meant 4.5% allocated to the community.

But...

The actual total supply is 50B.

Which means the community airdrop is less than 1% of the total supply. 💀
