Mengenal Kanker Ginjal yg Menyerang Alm. Vidi Aldiano

Diketahui diagnosa awal Vidi mengidap kanker ginjal stadium 3 pada Desember 2019, sempat jalani operasi pengangkatan ginjal sebelah kiri di Singapura, tapi ternyata sel kanker kembali muncul dan menyebar lagi di tubuhnya di tahun 2021-2023.

Penyebab Kanker Ginjal sendiri ada beberapa hal:

> Merokok: Zat kimia rokok masuk ke darah & tersaring ginjal
> Obesitas: Berat Badan picu perubahan hormon yg merangsang tumbuhnya tumor
> Hipertensi: Tekanan darah tinggi berdampak langsung ke risiko kanker ginjal
> Genetik: Riwayat keluarga, seperti Von Hippel-Lindau (VHL)
> Zat kimia Asbes

Tweet ini saya buat dengan harapan kita semua punya awareness lebih untuk menghindari hal hal seperti ini dengan cara yg dianjurkan Rasulullah, yaitu dengan mengambil hikmah dari setiap kejadian termasuk kematian seseorang untuk dijadikan pelajaran buat kita.

😊 Christ Should Make You Glad.

When Christ was born in Bethlehem, the angels sang with joy and jubilation. On the night Christ was born, as described in Luke 2:8-14, angels appeared to shepherds in the fields near Bethlehem. One angel proclaimed the joyful news: “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people. Today in the town of David a Saviour has been born to you; He is the Messiah, the Lord.”

After the announcement, a host of angels appeared, singing praises to God: “Glory to God in the highest heaven, and on earth peace to those on whom His favour rests.” The angelic joy stemmed from the fulfilment of age-old, divine promises made to Adam and to Eve in the Garden of Eden. So, the angels were proclaiming the faithfulness and the goodness of God, and were ushering in an era of grace and declaring the beginning of a new chapter in humanity’s relationship with God.

Their song celebrated the birth of Jesus; they were marking the arrival of the Messiah who being the Light of the world would bring light and hope and joy to the world. It was an evening of profound spiritual significance. “Joy to the world; the Lord is come; Let Earth receive her King; Let every heart prepare Him room, And heaven and nature sing.” As Christians, we celebrate Christ all year long, always remembering that Christmas Day comes before Good Friday and Resurrection Sunday too.

😇 The angels sang so joyously because Jesus' birth represented the fulfilment of God's promise – the arrival of a Saviour to bridge the gap between the Holy God and fallen mankind. It was a night to remember, a sacred night of angelic adoration and devotion to God, the King, a night of divine love, hope, and grace made available through the birth of a baby boy, who has changed the world, who brought victory, salvation and peace, reconciling humanity to God.

It is the night of our dear Saviour's birth
Long lay the world in sin and error pining
'Til He appeared, and the soul felt its worth
A thrill of hope, the weary world rejoices
For yonder breaks a new and glorious morn

Dear friend, are you glad that Christ came into the world? I hope so. If there was no incarnation, there would be no redemption of sinners. If no incarnation, then no resurrection of Christ. If no incarnation, then no reconciliation between God and mankind. If no incarnation, then we could never gladly proclaim, “There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set you free from the law of sin and of death.” Romans 8:1-2.

The incarnation of Messiah was necessary. In the book of Genesis, chapter three, verse 15, you will see that God made a great and glorious Messianic promise, a promise that was exceedingly good and gratuitous, full of grace and truth. Remember, God is faithful and never promises to do what He is unwilling or unable to perform. O loving wisdom of our God, when all was sin and shame, a Second Adam to the fight, and to our rescue came.

Do not marvel when we say, “The Son of God appeared on earth, draped as it were in our nature, appearing as man.” The incarnation did not change the divine nature. In the incarnation, the Son took to Himself a human nature, but did not cease to be what He eternally was – fully divine. The divine nature is immutable, and so the Son, in becoming man, did not undergo change, but assumed humanity into union with His divinity.

For if the Son of God could change in His being, He would not be the Rock of our salvation. But because He is “the same yesterday, and today, and forever” (Hebrews 13:8), we may rest with confidence in His ability to save to the uttermost. In Him, the immutable God meets mutable man, and by that union, the sons of Adam and the daughters of Eve are brought into communion with the eternal God.

But in the mystery of the incarnation, the only begotten Son took to Himself that which He did not possess before – our full and true humanity – while never for a moment ceasing to possess the fullness of divine glory. “For in Him dwells all the fulness of the Godhead bodily” (Colossians 2:9).

The incarnation is thus not a divine subtraction, but a divine addition. It is not that the Son became something less, but that He graciously became something more: God with us, Emmanuel. “Unto us a child is born, unto us a Son is given.” Isaiah 9:6a. Yes, Christ came into this sin-ridden world, sent by God the Father on an errand of mercy and love. Dear friend, this is tremendously good news, and it should gladden and warm your heart. ❤️‍🔥

To God be the glory!

That He gave us His Son.

An atonement for sin
And opened the life-gate
That all might come in.

It was the wondrous, marvellous person of Christ, His incarnation, mediation, love and power, that were promised to mankind under the name of “the seed of the woman.” Christ is the Second Adam, our nearest Kinsman, a Redeemer, the Son of Man who came down from Heaven to rescue us from our fearsome, cunning and wicked enemy, the devil.

Thankfully, Christ came to justify us by His obedience and sacrificial death upon the Cross, and to pour forth His precious atoning, cleansing blood, and to bring us exemption from the penalty of the Law, and “to deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.” Hebrews 2:15.

God cannot lie and did not promise to give to Adam and Eve and to mankind what He could not deliver or bring to pass. Our God infallibly promised to send us a strong and mighty Deliverer, “the seed of the woman” who would crush the serpent, namely Satan, our adversary. God promised it. God has fulfilled His grand and glorious promise. Emmanuel has come! Praise the everlasting King, deliverance is ours, Christ our King came, Christ our King died, and Christ our King rose again, triumphantly, and now reigns. Heaven is now opened to us.

Do you give Jesus Christ your seal of approval? Do you sing His praises and thank Him, love Him, obey Him, trust Him and adore Him? Jesus Christ our holy deliverer and Heaven’s King was born. He came into the world to make atonement for our sins and reconciliation for sinners. To accomplish the foundational promise of God (Genesis 3:15) made to Adam and Eve in Eden after the fall, our Lord Jesus Christ was born of a woman so that He might be under the law who Himself was above the law. Galatians 4:4.

Christ, the Lord our Deliverer, blessed Redeemer and everlasting King, took upon Himself the seed of Abraham. Why? Because in all things it was necessary for Christ to be made like unto His brethren, that He might be a merciful and faithful High Priest in things pertaining to God. Because the children were partakers of flesh and blood, Christ also Himself willingly partook of the same, flesh and blood, body and soul. Hebrews 2:14.

When we contemplate the wondrous mystery of the incarnation, we stand upon sacred ground, a holy and unsearchable threshold; heaven embraces earth, eternity touches time, and the Infinite God veils Himself in the finite form of man without diminution or division. It’s a mystery that has captivated the minds of the greatest thinkers on earth, stirred the worship of the Church, exercised the greatest teachers of theology, produced the greatest preachers with the spiritual gift of sanctified imagination, and compelled the deepest reverence among believers in every generation.

That the eternal Son of God, the second Person of the most blessed Trinity, should assume a true human nature without ceasing to be what He eternally is, surely has to be considered the miracle of miracles, the wonder of wonders. Augustine of Hippo, though separated from us by some sixteen hundred years or so, unites with us today in delighting in the glorious truth: “That the Incarnation did not, and could not, alter the unchanging divine nature of the Son.”

Hippo Regius, where Augustine was the bishop, was in modern-day Annaba, Algeria. It’s worth referencing him here in this post because he is highly regarded and respected by all the major branches or traditions of the Christian Church: Protestant, Romanised Catholic and Eastern Orthodox, etc. Augustine was born in 354 in the Roman province of Numidia in the municipium of Thagaste (now Souk Ahras, Algeria).

Augustine, in his profound and philosophically rigorous articulation of Trinitarian doctrine, is clear and unwavering in his affirmation of divine immutability. God, he insists, is “without any change or shadow of turning” (cf. James 1:17), and this attribute must be preserved if He is truly to be God. The Son, therefore, in becoming man, did not undergo transformation, nor did the divine nature mutate, fluctuate, or contract. Rather, the eternal Logos assumed humanity into personal union with Himself.

He did not lay aside His divinity, nor mingle it with His humanity in some kind of confused fusion. Instead, as Augustine beautifully expresses it, “The Son remained what He was, and took up what He was not.” This is the Chalcedonian Christ: one Person in two natures, unconfused, unchangeable, indivisible, inseparable. The divine did not become the human, nor the human the divine, but the Person of the Son became man, truly and fully, while remaining truly and fully God.

The protoevangelium, the early Edenic promise, of the birth or the coming of our Deliverer who should be of the seed of the woman, was the foundation of the church from the beginning, and upon this sure promise its hopes rested. Upon that first promise of the seed of the woman, the church rested its faith. Adam believed, Eve believed, Abel believed, Seth believed, Methuselah believed, Enoch believed, and Noah who lived at the time of the deluge believed. Abraham the Friend of God believed, and Moses who was called by God to lead the children of Israel out of Egypt believed too. Explore Hebrews, chapter 11, to see who else believed and lived by faith in Christ.

The Holy Bible reveals the majesty and the glory of Christ and the phenomenal work He came to do in breaking the head of the serpent and the way He should do it, by suffering as our substitute. The Son's submission to death was not an imposed burden, but a self-given offering. Echoing the words of Christ in John 10:18 – “No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself” – Augustine ever mindful of the divine simplicity and the inseparability of the Persons, insists on this point. He writes that “Christ did not lose His life by force but offered it in free and loving obedience.”

In this way, the crucifixion is not merely an act of human injustice, but a divine gift: the Son laying down His life in accordance with the eternal will of God. And yet Augustine is careful to uphold both the true suffering of Christ's humanity and the abiding authority of His divinity, insisting that the Lord was crucified in weakness, yet was never stripped of His sovereign power. The nails may have held His flesh, but it was love that held Him on the Cross.

When we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of His Son. “It is finished.” He died to expiate our sin and died in the place of sinners, removing the sentence of condemnation. He has paid our debt. He was delivered for our offenses. He was raised again for our justification. Romans 4:25.

We must be clear who Christ is before we can have full confidence in what Christ has done for us upon the Cross when shedding His blood and dying as our substitute, making atonement. The Cross is the place where the greatest transaction took place. It is the very altar upon which justice was appeased and wrath exhausted. Christ stood in the place of His people, all whom God had given to Him, assuming their guilt and bearing their punishment. This was no arbitrary display of divine power, but the fulfilment of covenant justice.

Sin could not be pardoned without satisfaction, nor would God appoint any other to make satisfaction but His own Son. God could not merely overlook sin. Even God could not merely pardon sin without a judicial compensation, an infinite reparation. The cup of divine wrath was not merely symbolic. It was, to use emphatic words, “filled with the fury of the Almighty,” a dreadful cup drank down to the dregs by the Lamb who stood in our stead.

Three times in the Garden of Gethsemane, Jesus our Saviour prayed, and fell, face down, and in unthinkable agony prayed saying, “O My Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from Me; nevertheless not as I will, but as You will. Your will be done.” Gospel of Matthew 26:38-45. “Then said Jesus unto Peter, ‘Put up thy sword into the sheath: the cup which My Father hath given Me, shall I not drink it?’” Gospel of John 18:11.

The prophet Isaiah had foretold it: “The chastisement of our peace was upon Him; and with His stripes we are healed… Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise Him; He hath put Him to grief. When Thou shalt make His soul an offering for sin, He shall see His seed, He shall prolong His days, and the pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in His hand. He shall see of the travail of His soul, and shall be satisfied. By His knowledge shall My righteous Servant justify many, for He shall bear their iniquities. Therefore will I divide Him a portion with the great, and He shall divide the spoil with the strong, because He hath poured out His soul unto death. And He was numbered with the transgressors; and He bore the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.” Isaiah 53:5; 10-12.

The Apostle Paul confirms it: “For our sake He, God the Father, made Him, Christ the Son, to be sin who knew no sin, so that in Him we might become the righteousness of God.” 2 Corinthians 5:21. Thus, Christ did not simply endure death – He satisfied justice by enduring inexpressible sufferings of body and soul, The Curse and death as judgment, in our place and for our peace. We are to simply receive by faith what God has revealed about Himself and His unchangeable ways in the Holy Bible, even when our reason stumbles before the eternal grandeur of His glorious being. “How unsearchable are His judgments and His ways past finding out?” Romans 11:33.

Christ is here considered as the Mediator between God and man, namely the God-Man. By Christ we are saved, by His stripes we are healed. By His power, we are raised from death to life. In union with Christ, God becomes ours and we become His; God’s offspring, born again of His Spirit who is Himself sovereign and moves freely as the wind (John 3). Being in Christ, we are called children of God, all born of the Spirit of Holiness who has breathed life into us a second time. Regeneration. Rebirth. Renewal. So, we live by the life of the resurrected Christ in us.

It is through the Holy Spirit that all the benefits of the mediation and intercession of Christ are actually communicated to us, the children of God. The Holy Spirit is the one by whom continual supplies of grace and strength are given, enabling believers to live unto God, to make daily progress in sanctification, and to cheerfully discharge our duties and to walk in humility, justified by faith, saved by grace, redeemed by blood. This is the way by which God is glorified.

God moves in mysterious ways, His wonders to perform. We should be glad because of what God has accomplished in sending His Son in the likeness of sinful flesh. For when the fulness of the time had come, God sent forth His Son, born to Mary, the young woman who was a virgin, and thus Christ, the righteous one, came under the law that He might thoroughly destroy the works of the devil and bring many sons to glory. So, the sublime promises of God are fulfilled in Christ and in Christ alone. Do you believe?

The patriarch Abraham believed, and Sarah believed and so did King David, who was of the tribe of Judah, even David the great-grandson of Boaz, from whose line Christ the Messiah, the Redeemer, our King and our Brother, came. The Gospel of Matthew begins by saying, “The book of the generation of Jesus Christ, the son of David, the son of Abraham.”

This is remarkable, astonishing. Look at the New Testament. Here begins the happy news of the wonderful life of Jesus Christ, God’s Son, the Son of God incarnate, God and man in one person. End the controversy! “Great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.” 1 Timothy 3:16. Sing, O my soul, sing.

Come, Thou Fount of every blessing,
Tune my heart to sing Thy grace;
Streams of mercy, never ceasing,
Call for songs of loudest praise.
Teach me some melodious sonnet,
Sung by flaming tongues above.
Praise the mount I’m fixed upon it,
Mount of God’s redeeming love.

But to wrap up these thoughts. God has promised good things to mankind, wondrously priceless things, heavenly, spiritual and eternal things. 👑 But they are all made available through Jesus Christ and only through Jesus Christ. “For all the promises of God are treasured up in the Person of Jesus Christ and in Him all the rich promises are yea, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God.” 2 Corinthians 1:20.

May Jesus Christ, the Son of God, gladden and warm your heart today. ❤️‍🔥 Wonder of wonders. Christ took our nature to be His own, even as the divine nature is His. Brothers and sisters, it is an amazing thing to realise that the divine nature in the person of the Son, or the eternal person of the Son of God, by an ineffable act of His divine power and love, voluntarily condescended and assumed our nature, giving it an individual subsistence in and with Himself, forever and ever. Amen. 🙏 Abraham rejoiced to see Christ’s day and was glad. I hope you are glad.
