@Devlbeato That's all of the hardware prototypes. Top left is the first and bottom right is the last. I might make a larger one on the future for more buttons, but the current size is about perfect for 12. The original model was definitely too small.
Update on the touchscreen keypad:
- Hardware and case are complete.
- Firmware is mostly feature complete, I just need to tweak the web config and fix some bugs bugs.
@Devlbeato Pretty far, but I'd also like to experiment with different hardware. The current screen is a little smaller than I'd like and I'd like if you didn't have to connect it to your network because the on-screen keyboard is a pain to use.
@Devlbeato Yes, a touchscreen macropad with a web interface for configuration. The coolest feature right now is the ability to remotely switch profiles over http. That enables software on the computer to automatically switch profiles based on the focused window.
I should have posted this with the release of the Springboard since it's my primary reason for making it. If you like difficult platformers with cute art and chill music, check out Bat to the Heavens by @ceroribi! It's one of my favorite games of 2024. https://t.co/ldT4MaF1Un
To celebrate the release of the Springboard, I'm running a 20% off sale on all Fightboard-style controllers for the next two weeks. https://t.co/tVcDxLG7m6
The Fightboard v3 is now available!

Both versions of the LP will be up within the next few weeks.
@viceroi93 The MX uses Cherry MX switches and the LP uses Kailh Choc switches. They have different depths and pin spacings, so they require different models.
@WaFd94830420 That would be left+right+home to enter the menu, R3 to switch to analog stick mode, L3 to switch back to d-pad mode, and home to save and exit the menu.
@WaFd94830420 This should have been fixed with 2.0.1 (maybe it's because you updated from an earlier version), but you can fix it by switching to analog stick mode and back to d-pad mode.
@Devlbeato They're similar but they are a little softer feeling because there's a thin layer of rubber on top of the switch. The buttons on the MX version are currently unchanged, but I may still play around with it.
The hardware of the new RP2040 Fightboards is finally nearing completion after some last minute changes. Here are the new extra buttons on the LP models, which are built into the case and make contact with switches on the PCB below.
