As someone who is purely a gamer and has experienced gaming communities across val, lol, tft, pubg,... from different regions, I feel what happened this time has been extremely unfair to the vietnamese players

1. too sensitive? don’t play games.
2. if you can’t awrae what impact your actions may have on public opinion, then take responsibility for them

Sum: It was a showmatch for fun, where professionalism was not the top priority (no cameras, the organizers confirmed that stream sniping was allowed, lag, bugs,...). Yet a Kor female streamer named Soopi, after being killed in an 8v8 match, doxxed a player competing in Vietnam, Himass, by putting his name on her stream and allowing her fans to insult him

Well, 2 vn players were unfairly replaced and then posted apologies. This is an example of the respect those two players showed toward the female streamer. They were still competing and wanted to keep things peaceful. They apologized not because they had done anything wrong, but because they did not want to escalate tensions between the communities of different countries. Their fame is already huge, which is precisely why they were even more careful. That should not be used as an excuse for Korean fans to latch onto and insult them.

Guess what? Soopi did not try to reconcile or calm her fans down, she fueled them to insult and demean an entire country, its women, and its history. When people from that country pushed back, suddenly played the victim?

Recently, I saw Soopi’s post and her newly uploaded YouTube video. The video is completely based on false claims about the two players. This kind of action is absolutely enough to warrant legal action.

And as for the arguments she made? All I see are contradictions. Whether she stream-sniped or not is not something I care about. It was allowed by the rules, and vn fans had no issue with it. The problem is that she used it to play the victim in front of Korean fans. If you got outplayed, then be mad at yourself.

The Vietnamese streamer Rambo’s post literally had the word “question” written all over it. He did not reach a conclusion or accuse anyone of anything. Yet this girl’s video clearly accused two players who had done nothing wrong.

And let me remind: Who was the first person to put Himass’s name on stream? Who was the first to dox him? Who deliberately tried to steer public opinion toward attacking a player, and now an entire country?
