Thomas Hobbes

Disagreed with since 1588

[Thomas Hobbes @thobbe1588]

@DenisTheMenis70 Denis I am not saying to completely take away all freedoms, simply do not give the pop. so many that anarchy ensues.

[Thomas Hobbes @thobbe1588]

@urboythobbes thanks tom

[Thomas Hobbes @thobbe1588]

@TheDiderot lol why Denis?

[Thomas Hobbes @thobbe1588]

@Adam_Bomb_Smith I agree they need a say but not complete freedom. That leads to anarchy.

[Thomas Hobbes @thobbe1588]

@t_jeffery1743 I agree with some freedoms but there can't be total freedom. That leads to anarchy and destruction.

[Thomas Hobbes @thobbe1588]

@TheDiderot why not a monarchy? It's efficient. The poeple have some freedoms and it's a strong government.

[Thomas Hobbes @thobbe1588]

@barondemonte48 lol no. People are bad because they have too much freedom and try to bend the rules all the time.

[Thomas Hobbes @thobbe1588]

Spending money on things that does not benefit the monarchy is wrong and wasteful

[Thomas Hobbes @thobbe1588]

@Adam_Bomb_Smith as long as money is being given to the king then it is ok

[Thomas Hobbes @thobbe1588]

@Adam_Bomb_Smith if the people make a lot of money then it doesn't really matter if the government takes some of it. It is taxes.

[Thomas Hobbes @thobbe1588]

@ballinwithBaron rlly baron there needs to be a monarch with all the power to keep things in line

[Thomas Hobbes @thobbe1588]

@tjeffy1743 @JohnLoc08238396 I agree with John. We need a government to keep society from spiraling out of control

[Thomas Hobbes @thobbe1588]

@ballinwithBaron @tjeffy1743 if you just made more money then you wouldn't have to worry about taxes

[Thomas Hobbes @thobbe1588]

@veryberrymary17 if there was a monarchy then there wouldn't be a zombie apocalypse because it would stop it

[Thomas Hobbes @thobbe1588]

@ballinwithBaron cool

[Thomas Hobbes @thobbe1588]

People are terrible that's why there needs to be a monarchy

[Thomas Hobbes @thobbe1588]

@danieldefoe_ @iam_tjefferson A monarch is good. You are suggesting a gov't with too much freedom, which leads to chaos and anarchy.

[Thomas Hobbes @thobbe1588]

@tHobbesHobbies @tpaine222 I agree with myself. If there is too much freedom then there is chaos. Like I said, a monarch will keep peace

[Thomas Hobbes @thobbe1588]

@jeanjrouss @TheDiderot @tHobbesHobbies a monarchs lust for power, IF EXECUTED CORRECTLY, can only lead to growth and expansion of a kingdom

[Thomas Hobbes @thobbe1588]

One person needs to be in control all the time. A monarchy. Efficient, absolute, and hassle-free
