People are literally begging for dollars for medical care. Hundreds of families are suffering unjust job dismissals. Staff are forced to attend PNC rallies and register with the party. But Nasheed attends PNC events with no regard for that. Any other leader would stay away in protest. Remember, this is the same guy who praised Muizzu’s fiscal policies and supported merging two elections.

Muizzu is developing three resorts with an Indian partner, through his nephew, Hassaan Waheed.

Muizzu posted Hassaan to UAE as Deputy Ambassador specifically to find investors. That was his full time role there. Hassaan met Tony Vincent of Aratt Developers, guaranteed him the lagoon, and connected Muizzu to them directly. Muizzu told them that Hassan would serve as his representative throughout the process.

The lagoon they selected consists of three islands in Thaa Atoll. Gaalee Island together with a neighbouring island (6.96 + 0.20 hectares), Kanimeedhu (10 hectares) and Ruhthibirah (8.41 hectares).

Muizzu later met them in Dubai and also in Male’.

Hassaan has now been transferred back to the Foreign Ministry in order to fast track all paperwork. Every ministry and gov institution is being directed to expedite this application. But nobody knew it is Muizzu’s resort.

The company for the resort has been registered in Feb 2026 under the name Ayatana Hospitalities Pvt Ltd. Two shareholders were added accordingly:

1. Hassaan Waheed (Muizzu’s proxy and nephew).

2. Ayatana Hospitalities Pvt Ltd (CIN: U45200KA2008PTC048116, registered in Bangalore),

Do not confuse the local company with the shareholding company. They share the same name, the shareholding entity bears the same name as Maldivian company but is registered in Bangalore.

This constitutes corruption and theft at the highest level. Muizzu’s conflict with existing resort owners began after this, once he started viewing them as competitors.

Muizzu is also confident that an MDP/PNF gov would reverse the dollar policy if it wins office. By that time, however, he will already be opening the resort and therefore will not be affected by the policy, while the other resorts will have been substantially weakened, this is what Muizzu wants.

Muizzu is officially in resort business.

No newspaper has written about how almost 60 Qaumee Majlis members boycotted last night’s QM meeting.

Only 34 people showed up at Nasheed’s request and only 30 voted for Shippe. This is a record in MDP history - the first time anyone has been appointed to a senior post with so few votes.

Muizzu has instructed the Commissioner General of Taxation, Ameeza, to send teams at random to resorts to audit compliance with the USD exchange policy, in coordination with Maldives Monetary Authority.

The teams are to be given access to resort booking systems and the police are to be called in if any resort blocks access to systems requested by MIRA.

The gov also intends to leak some of the raw data from those systems to create the public impression that resorts are earning millions of dollars while failing to put enough of that money into the banks.

MIRA already carries out regular resort audits, but those audits largely rely on external reports prepared by private firms. In these new random inspections, the gov wants MIRA to access the booking management systems itself and independently verify revenue figures for both the previous years and the current year.

Hussain Fareed, who sexually abused and molested the 3 year old daughter and filmed it, is Muizzu’s nephew in law and police were asked by Ali Ihusaan not to publish the photos due to this. They kept it from public for so long.

Fareed is the son of Latheef, who is the brother of Mufeed, the husband of Saudha, Muizzu’s sister.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

Muizzu decided to fire Ihusaan sometime ago but he decided to keep him after Ihusaan got involved in the case, proved himself useful to Muizzu, by keeping this from public. In short, Ihusaan saved his job by protecting a paedophile for Muizzu’s family.

Guess how many people showed up to tonight’s protest?

Fewer than 500. I’m not kidding.

MDP youth have had enough of its fake leadership. The party has completely lost the plot. This is exactly what I’ve been warning about for weeks. MDP advertised this protest for weeks, yet the turnout tonight was tiny (and please don’t blame the rain cause back in the day, people wouldn’t have cared even if there was a storm).

This should be a moment of reckoning for MDP, a chance for the party’s youth to demand better leadership from the seniors. The same old faces keep dominating TV screens while people grow increasingly frustrated.

We need fresh faces like Saruvash.

It’s honestly heartbreaking that a party the size of MDP could only manage around 500 people at tonight’s protest.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​ and the reason is clear.

People no longer want band aid protests.

Having artificially enlarged boobs and buttocks should not exempt anyone from paying tax. Kaizeen has avoided tax her entire life.

The current female Commissioner General of MIRA, Ameeza, should launch an official investigation into Kaizeen unless she also wants to sleep with her.

All previous male Commissioner Generals of MIRA have been reluctant to investigate her.

Anyone earning income in this country, especially significant / excessive income is subject to income tax. She is no exception. She should fully disclose all her income sources.

Dumb journalists rush to cover stories about her apartments and vessels, yet none of them have questioned her tax compliance status.

She should not be exempt from tax. Purchasing multiple luxury apartments (enough to gift some to loved ones) means she is generating tens of millions of MVR in income somehow.

This would be an embarrassing day for MDP. Youth won’t take part in this. Look who’s speaking. Very low quality decisions by MDP. @MohamedNasheed needs to resign.

He stayed silent during Savaahil island grab. He supported merging 2 elections (later changed mind). He praised Muizzu’s fiscal policy. He praised BML’s dollar policy. He supports Muizzu’s Hensley Partners deal.

Why are @HenleyPartners involved in the residency programme?

They helped Malaysian fugitive Jho (he embezzled billions from 1MDB) secure a Cypriot passport. They threatened journalists who investigated them.

@MohamedNasheed and @MMuizzu are hell bent on bringing them on board cause there is a lot of commission involved. It would be difficult to collect such a commission if they remove the middleman - Henley Partners.

There are dozens of documented cases of Henley Partners’ corruption all over the world.

Guizzu is the most incompetent housing minister, mayor and president Maldives has ever seen.

He literally visited Ameeneemagu to inspect and supervise the roadwork in Jan 2024.

After exactly 2.5 years, Guizzu is re-doing the work again.

His incompetency should be a case study for project management students.
