"Up until now the world wasn't taking Nigeria seriously until when President Tinubu came in. Shell pulled out of Nigeria... but February this year, Shell pledged an investment of 20 billion US dollars in our economy. Before Shell makes such an investment, they take a minimum 20-year outlook. That tells you they have looked at the foundation that is being laid by this government." — Political Scientist, Obafemi George
The @HQNigerianArmy has arrested members of a kidnapping gang and recovered ransom money they collected from a kidnapped victim in Enugu state.
We need to make kidnapping a capital offence. Kidnappers are getting daring.
"I wonder how Kwankwaso, who flew from Kano to Abuja to challenge Peter Obi for driving the Northern out of Anambra...will now go back to Kano and contradict himself? I smuggled Peter Obi to Borno, Kano and Zaria... I sorted that problem of ID card, Mosque demolition, Yes Daddy....just market him." — Datti Baba-Ahmed

Today, at Invest Lagos 3.0, we are reaffirming a simple message that Lagos is ready for investment, innovation and growth.
It is encouraging to engage with investors and business leaders who see the immense opportunities our city offers. We remain committed to building a Lagos where businesses succeed and prosperity is shared by all.

Yoruba Muslims openly condemn religious terrorism, say our race will not be compromised on the altar religion, place spiritual curses on Terrorists who invaded Ogbomosho School.
SAY NO TO TERRORISM
📌📌📌One state,
One governor. Using the substantial FAAC allocations being received from the Federal Government led by @officialABAT to permanently rewrite the destiny of his state.
Meanwhile, some governors are stashing away funds meant for their people or spending them on needless projects, while heaping blame and telling lies about Mr. President.
History will judge all of us for what we do today, even when we appear untouchable because we wield the power of the state.
No one remains governor forever. What endures are the projects we build, the lives we touch, and the opportunities we create for our people. Even something as simple as releasing local government funds and allowing the councils to use them judiciously for grassroots development can become a defining legacy.
Governors have come and gone. History is filled with examples of those who served their people faithfully and those who did otherwise.
Stash away the FAAC. Tell the people that every problem is the fault of the Federal Government. Shift responsibility if you must. But remember that history is patient, and history is a harsh judge.
Instead of all these airports that the common man is unable to access , let's have rail. Intra state rail, the next Gov and state to build one like that of Lagos will etch his name in gold, forever.
Enough of all this shallow thinking projects.
May history be kind to us all‼️

Big shout out to all those from 👇state, say hi if you come across this post .
The Federal Government has commenced the construction of five pedestrian bridges along Section Two of the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway to improve safety and reduce the frequent loss of lives recorded on the busy highway corridor.
The 84-kilometre stretch from Sagamu Interchange to Ojoo in Ibadan has long posed serious risks to residents crossing at major points such as Soka, Sanyo, Elebu, Seminbiyo, Boluwaji, and other bus stops due to the absence of pedestrian bridges.
To anyone driving through this newly built Lagos - Calabar coastal highway please be very careful to avoid something like this.
From BAD ROADS to OVER SPEEDING...
Peter @PeterPsquare, listen to me carefully. What you are doing is not activism. It is ethnic merchandising dressed up as conscience.
You people have mastered the art of selective outrage. Once the victim helps your political narrative, you will cry from morning till night, flood social media, hold spaces, write epistles and pretend to care about Nigeria. But once the matter points fingers back home, suddenly everybody develops spiritual silence.
You posted the Ogbomoso kidnap victims, and rightly so, because every Nigerian life matters. But explain to Nigerians why Ikechukwu, your fellow tribes man, who has spent 4 weeks in kìdnapper's den, did not deserve the same energy. Is his life discounted because it does not suit the propaganda template? Or are some Nigerians only useful when they can help you score emotional political points for your messiah?
That is the hypocrisy Nigerians are tired of.
And then the second clip, people from your region allegedly sharing human flesh like meat in 2026. A disgraceful and horrifying thing for any sane society to even be associated with. But because it may stain the image of your tribe, everybody suddenly becomes careful, diplomatic and “let us not generalize.” Ah! But when it is another region, you people become CNN, BBC and Amnesty International combined.
Recently, NDLEA uncovered a drug factory in Ogun State worth over ₦450 billion. 10 arrests. 3 Mexicans. 7 Igbo men. Nigerian youths are being destroyed daily by hard drugs, families ruined, destinies buried alive, but I did not hear your activist voice. Why? Because when the criminals share your language, morality suddenly becomes flexible.
This is the problem with many ethnic champions in Nigeria today. They are not fighting for justice. They are fighting for tribal advantage. Their outrage is rented out according to ethnicity.
And let me tell you something bluntly: the easiest way to know a tribalist is not when he praises his people. Every tribe does that. It is when he loses the ability to condemn wrongdoing because the offender is from his side.
That is exactly what you are displaying.
Nigeria will never move forward if we continue this nonsense where one crime becomes a national emergency and another becomes “don’t stereotype us” simply because of tribe.
A criminal is a criminal.
Kidnapping is kidnapping.
Drug trafficking is drug trafficking.
Evil is evil.
And no tribe has a divine exemption certificate from accountability.
Painful that it's President Tinubu that is now TEACHING those who should know better that they shouldn't curse their Country even if they don't like certain politicians.....
It's shameful if you're in that category sha....
Xenophobic Attacks: Nigeria Not Happy With South Africa - Foreign Minister
“Nigeria is not happy because Nigeria has sacrificed much for the South African struggle for independence. Nigeria sacrificed quite a lot, committed funds, committed resources to aid South Africa.
“In schools, seats were reserved for South African students. My own generation, we carried placards. We demonstrated in front of South African assets,” Odumegwu-Ojukwu said while speaking with journalists.
