his OL was weakened

they were forced to play SIX STRAIGHT GAMES at a REST DISADVANTAGE weeks 12-17, the ONLY time a team had to do that in NFL history

they had to play in Germany

they didn't get a 1st round bye

they had to play on the road in the Divisional Round as an underdog

they had to play on the road in the Conference Championship round as an underdog

they were underdogs in the Super Bowl and were losing by double digits

it was the TOUGHEST PATH to a Super Bowl based on strength of opponent faced EVER

and they STILL won the Super Bowl

We often ask our students to meet an expectation we ourselves cannot meet. We also discipline using strategies we would not want used on us. As adults, we don’t not want to be called out in front of our peers but do it to our students.

I once expected students to sit quietly for a 40 min lesson. I got frustrated when they got fidgety. This lead to me yelling.

Then I found myself fidgety after only 20 minutes on a PD Day. Everything changed. I changed from “delivering curriculum” to “discovering curriculum.”
