@TradeVerity@DiogenesTrades This is great! Good work analyzing the problems and setting “rules” for solutions. In general, do you find that smaller zones work out better for you or larger ones? You scale the amount of micros so that each trade is in that $100 risk area, right?
@Invested_In_You There’s nothing to consider here. Pay off the house. Investment math shenanigans doesn’t even come close to accounting for the peace of mind that a paid off home delivers.
@StoicTA Interesting. It's above ATH, but slightly different dynamic than NQ with B-ADJ off. Funny thing is that B-ADJ on also has some meaningful annotations...
@StoicTA This is quite significant, as currently NQ has already reached new all-time highs when you don't adjust the price of past contracts to the current level, but we still have a ways to go if you do.
@StoicTA I noticed that you have the B-ADJ setting DISABLED when you look at HTF analysis for NQ in your videos. It seems to me like B-ADJ ON would give you the true price of past contracts relative to the current contract. What's your rationale for that?
@TradeForOpp This is a great enhancement! It’s very educational, and helps clarifying Dtfx concepts. And thanks again for publishing your scripts open source!!!
@TanjaTrades@Barchart Tradingview rolled contracts in the !1 charts for NQ and ES today. Always annoying when the old drawings don’t fit the chart anymore. Is there a script that shifts them to the bdr-adj price?
@rherman @Matthewwmickey1 @imJessTwoOne@TradeForOpp Sorry, the previous image was October without Thursdays... this one is with Thursdays. Four more trades which made only $400 additional.
@rherman @Matthewwmickey1 @imJessTwoOne@TradeForOpp Here are the October results with R:R disabled - much higher overal gains but increased Max Drawdown...
@rherman @Matthewwmickey1 @imJessTwoOne@TradeForOpp I love that @TradeForOpp is providing the open source of his indicators. I refined the Captain Backtest with options to isolate days of the week, as well as requiring a minimum pullback after the range is breached.
But with refinements comes loss of statistic relevance.
