As part of BelTech in 2013 and many since delighted to see it going from strength to strength. I wish @beltech2023 every success as it kicks of the 10th yr program. Important event in the tech calendar, giving voice to our vital #SoftwareSector@thomas_d_gray @SoftwareAll_
Dr Pitor Szcuko, Associate Professor at @Uniwersytet_GD, is giving an address on Green Computing - Optimize and Recycle your AI Models Activity. #AICon2022
Now, I know that AI is in the diagram beside Software but this neither accurately reflects the impact of such a disruptive technology nor does it position it correctly as a "technology". And, yes, I know that there is more coverage in the underlying documents but it's muddled.
After a super #aicon2022, I'm disappointed to see that @Economy_NI makes no mention of AI in their recent call to inform research needs and build the evidence base to deliver the 10X Economic Vision. https://t.co/a9zCmMabgc
I'm delighted to be able to present Somdip Dey with his @EmtechEurope Innovators under 35 with his medal at #aicon2022. Somdip wasn't able to join us in Donegal earlier in the year.
Dr Robert Elliot Smith, Author of ‘Rage Inside The Machine’, is giving a keynote address on challenging the assumption that technology is apolitical and amoral force. #AICon2022

Almost ready to kick-off #aicon2022. Everyone's getting coffee to prep for a hard day's thinking. Thanks to all our sponsors and speakers and, especially, the curators who pulled the programme together. Without whom ....
It's been 6 months since I've used Twitter because, well, Twitter. But I'm back today because it's #aicon2022. We have a fabulous array of speakers and panels to explore what's involved in Responsible and Sustainable AI.
Looked in on @humble for the first time in a while and there is a feast of book offers - ML and Data bundles, a Design bundle (which looks really interesting) and some entertainment in the form of 2000AD, Love and Rockets, Dr Who and The Boys/Vampi https://t.co/LVlxTH4aj0
And, implying quartz watches are less "precise" than mechanical watches is a bit of a rookie mistake. Granted, precision is not the same thing as accuracy but I doubt the author was considering this while crafting this piece.
@JoshLRussell So, "it's hard to deny that its curvy ... don't borrow at least a little". This has to be one of the most twisted sentences I've ever tried to parse. There are 3(?) negatives in there. I'd suggest that the writer is trying to be clever at the expense of clarity.
