โ HARRY GILBERTSON - LIVERPOOL
The killer of 12-year-old Ava White can now be named after turning 18.
Harry Gilbertson was 14 when he stabbed Ava in the neck during an argument in Liverpool city centre following the Christmas lights switch-on on 25 November 2021. She later died in hospital.
Gilbertson was convicted of murder and jailed for life in 2022 with a minimum term of 13 years.
The naming restriction has now expired and the little rat can be named and shamed.
RIP Ava ๐
In January 2023 Snoopy who was just short of 15 suffered a neurological collapse very unexpectedly one morning, he was unable to walk. Realising it was possibly the end? We lifted him back onto his bed & I sat with him while we made telephone arrangements with our vet
He was lying in bed & unexpectedly our blind & deaf Breton spaniel Ronnie came & climbed in beside him & snuggled back to back
Snoopy was calm & didnโt seem to be in any pain, Ronnie just lay with him & it was a very poignant but quite peaceful few minutes
We carried Snoopy to the car & we all left for his final journey
Ronnie was an extraordinarily intuitive dog, but he wasnโt one for sharing beds & while he loved cuddles from us, he never instigated them from the other dogs & would often move if they came & lay beside him
But in the final minutes of Snoopyโs time at home Ronnie offered him comfort & support, it was very moving
Mo our other Springer grieved & looked for Snoopy afterwards
Ronnie accepted his loss from the moment we left the vets, I believe because he understood it ?
Mo died 15 months later, although there was never a repeat of the cuddling incident observed with Snoopy, in her final days Ronnie frequently went over to her, sniffed her & stood quietly with her
He was a boy who lived through his nose & possibly had ultra sensitivity due to this
Whatever it was? He understood at that moment Snoopy needed love & support, so he gave it
It was a very special moment
Snoopy, Mo & Ronnie are now all sadly over the ๐ but have of course left amazing memories, of which that was a very special one
I suffer from chronic pain & on several occasions when I was lying awake at night Ronnie would come & lie on the floor beside me because I believe he sensed my discomfort?
@SpanielsSuper@Bruadarach_labs Ronnie was possibly one of the most special dogs. My wee lad who's 11 now still speaks about ronnie, he has autism and shows very little interest in animals, but he still brings ronnie up when we see a dog that is similar in colour and size. He truly was a special boy
@fesshole Must admit I have no idea what the hell kind of skin this lad must have, how you can have 2 years worth a skin uncleaned anywhere on yer body is fuckin woeful
