In 22, 10Y bond was not primarily driven by the Truss budget. Through 22 all markets had steady inflation in bond rates. Re-baselining all markets at January shows average increase of 2.5%.
Looking at the daily % change on budget day, the Truss budget (which was 75% driven by energy spending and 25% by tax cuts) drove 0.5% rate increase which adjusted by the end of the first week of October.
People forget that at the time, markets were spooked by the weather forecast for a harsh winter, which (with gas prices & govt subsidised energy) hit all markets.
Brilliant - No idea what the severe alert is about because the government has inexplicably sent it in a language only 17.8% of people in the country I am in actually speak. Hope it’s not serious.
“For all of our staff & children, it was not like a school but seemed to us as if time had stood still an idyllic oasis in a fast-paced world, where children could be themselves, with play forming the backdrop of their everyday lives.”
Those of us who are not motivated by malice will never understand socialists’ enthusiasm for this level of destruction for children - or the associated redundancies of cleaners, canteen staff, teachers & admin staff that their preferred policies bring.
Let’s hope that every child finds a place where they can grow, & that as many employees as possible can find something to turn to. 🙏

He is 100% right.
For too long the government has lived on credit cards, promising things we simply can't afford.
The result is inflation and the theft of our children and their children's future.
Stop voting for poor!
You seem to want an argument.
All I stated was that the blockade is the only thing that has any impact because the only thing that they're interested in is the money.
Not trying to make any other observation, and I agree with you that they don't care about anything else because they're a death cult.
Nothing more to clarify. Cya.
@dahughjestanus@Yet_anotherPaul@HormuzLetter I agree - especially with the lack of any care for their people. It's a death cult.
I do think they like money tho. It's key to all their demands across the MOU and every major demand that Fars; Tasnim and Mehr release.
The money's the only thing they care about.
BREAKING: Iran has abandoned the current Omani proposal for the Strait of Hormuz, officially adding new demands, per WSJ:
1. An immediate end to the US naval blockade
2. The lifting of all US sanctions on Iranian oil, petrochemical products, and gas
3. An explicit acknowledgement of Iran's right to collect maritime fees on every ship
4. The end of all attacks on Iran permanently by all parties
These new demands come on top of the current arrangement, which gives Iran full sovereign control over inbound traffic into the Strait of Hormuz, and supervision over outbound traffic through Omani waters.
