#TechfestAlbania was a great success, 100+ people developed solutions in 24hs that tackle some of Albanias biggest challenges - the amount of innovation was really impressive. Thank you #tirana for having us! #hackathon
We had a cozy meetup tonight where I got to share my ideas about future trends in ecommerce and web dev, including @vendure_io and @QwikDev (which was new to this audience but I think my demo made an impact)!
And making new friends @thomasdaxAT@luca_pircher@LimajEndis
Roughly a week ago my team and I participated in the #CodingAustria hackathon. We didn't win anything, but we had a lot of fun working together.
After 24h we created bitbee, a virtual copy of a real-life bee hive. Sponsor a real beekeeper to #SaveTheBees 🐝
Yesterday, my master project https://t.co/IxkDcBF1RN was featured in the @smashingmag newsletter 🤩
It's so nice to see that people like our idea and are starting to learn about accessibility ❤️
One week ago we launched on #ProductHunt. With over 100 upvotes and a lot of positive comments, we call it a success 🏆
Thank you all for your support and feedback, we hope you enjoy the challenges and keep learning about #accessibility with a11yphant 🐘
You wonder why we are called “a11yphant”?
It‘s a combination of the numeronym “a11y”, which is an abbreviation for “accessibility”. And „elephant“, because they are very smart animals 🐘
First things first: start with a valid semantic HTML document when making your site #accessible.
Why?
#AssistiveTechnologies extract information based on the structure of the document to properly interpret the page content.
