If your friends tell you:
- Meat is bad for you
- Fruit is the reason you can’t lose weight
- Whey Protein is destroying your kidneys
- Eggs are shortening your life
You might need to find some new friends.
(Or at least sit down and read at least one peer reviewed paper together)
Tell someone you ate steak and eggs for breakfast, they look at you like you’re glutton and know nothing about the human body.
Eat a granola bar, glass of orange juice and a pancake and they’ll applaud you for a “light and fit” breakfast.
We need to look at things different
Replace Your:
Multivitamin with Beef
Nootropics with Eggs
Collagen with Ground Beef (Gristle)
Alcohol with Morning Exercise
Vitamin D with 15 Mins of Sunshine
Pre-Workout with Green Tea or Coffee
Probiotics with Fermented Dairy or Kefir
There, saved you like $210/month
Imagine a world where we spend all of our money making sure everything looks good on the outside:
Our cars, our homes, our clothes, our social media accounts…
But when it comes down to taking care of our INSIDES, we place it on the back burner.
Now what would happen if we flipped this script?
Can we get a big “hell yeah” for those people that did NOT want to workout today, but found a way to get active anyway?
You did the thing you set out to do and you stuck to your commitments.
Gotta give credit where credit is due.
Motion is the lotion.
Try the 80/20 approach:
80% of my diet is from these foods:
Ground beef, chicken, eggs, fruit, sweet potatoes, honey, asparagus, macadamia nuts, yogurt/fermented dairy, whey protein, olive oil, avocados, aged cheese.
The other 20% comes from life & I don’t obsess over it. I rest easy that most of the time, I’m making great choices.

If you take 1 minute out of every hour and do 10 pushups, you’ll be doing 120-160 pushups per day.
That’s over 1,000 pushups per week with less than a 15 minute commitment each day.
Trust me, you’ll build muscle with 1,000 pushups.

@Nicasius0 That wasn’t why lol. I just barely have a twitter following and it makes way more sense to focus my efforts on the platforms that actually make impact
Bottled water: $3
Soda with the same water plus sugar, flavoring, carbonation, and years of R&D: Also $3.
Amazing how the drink with ONE ingredient costs the same as the one with 20.
Stay hydrated…

Why are we paying more for simple foods with similar shelf life?
Ingredients Matter. Calories Matter.
Just because a food made with chemicals and questionable ingredients is low calorie doesn’t erase how nefarious it is.
Just like how eating whole, organic foods is great but it doesn’t mean you eat 15k calories per day of them.
Meat and Fruit Diet?
Carnivore Diet?
Low Carb?
Vegan?
Whole Foods Approach?
If all the diet tribes spent less time fighting each other, we might be able to win this battle together.
The enemy is out THERE. Why are we all fighting in the same house?
We all want the same thing
Changing your relationship with food doesn’t mean allowing every piece of garbage into your body without care.
It means loving yourself enough to know how to nourish it properly
A healthy relationship is one that has boundaries. And that includes a relationship with food.
This sounds silly, but it works.
Drink a protein shake (or eat some protein) before going grocery shopping.
It’s amazing how much less junk ends up in your pantry when you’re satiated.
One simple decision eliminates 25 crappy ones later in the week.
Some days I have to make really tough decisions, like:
Do I eat more beef or do I eat more eggs today?
I feel like I’m choosing between Superman or Captain America.
People aren’t willing to get up at 5am to workout before work because they don’t want to cut their sleep short.
But they have no problem staying up til 2am drinking or playing video games even if that means cutting their sleep short.
Kinda hypocrotical
