The Maricopa County Board of Supervisors filed a Rule 60b Motion in federal court, to end the 12 years of federal oversight of the Sheriff’s Office. This is the most significant event in my chairmanship. This is a historic moment for Maricopa County. In this video, I outline why
Met with a top builder’s head of land acquisition for PHX metro.
He confirmed what I’ve been hearing about builders’ land/lots pipeline:
2027 & 2028 are mostly covered, but there’s a big hole for 2029 & beyond.
Given how long it takes to entitle & develop land, there will either be a struggle to meet growth targets or they’ll need to find a lot more land positions. This likely looks like larger land positions for the top builders (hundreds of lots per deal). The bite-sized infill positions have been absorbed, since those have been what builders have wanted these past few years.
This is how you grow the game and keep kids skating in Arizona.
Proud to share the Arizona Titans handed out $35,000 in scholarships this year!

I appreciate the update from Apache County Supervisor Alton Joe Shepherd, who serves as the County Supervisors Association President, and Craig Sullivan, their Executive Director. I'm grateful for the collaboration and the work done by the County Supervisors Association.
The last time the White Sox won a playoff series before tonight, the future Pope was just another fan in the stands against the Astros at the 2005 World Series 😮
21 years later, his Sox beat the Astros again – just weeks after receiving a letter from the Pope 🔥
FINAL: White Sox 7, Astros 3
One day after receiving a letter from Pope Leo XIV offering "abundant blessings," the Chicago White Sox have won a playoff series for the first time in more than two decades. They went to Houston and absolutely ran the Astros. Cleveland awaits next.
VOTE YES ON PROP 413
Prop 413 continues existing funding — it does NOT create a new funding source.
In 1998, Maricopa County voters approved funding to build and operate major jail facilities and support the detention officers who staff them.
Prop 413 simply extends that existing funding for another 20 years at the current rate to continue operating and maintaining Maricopa County’s jail system.
It’s an extension of funding already in place.
In the third year of a House program that reimburses members for meals and lodging in Washington without requiring receipts, expenses surged by 21%. Most of the top spenders won’t discuss it: https://t.co/mWPuORQniJ
Woke up at 2:50 to sound of thunder. Jumped out of bed and got dressed. 10 minutes later I bagged this double bolt shot at 3:00 am with my drone from the end of my street. #Idontpayfortwitter#azwx
