@BiasedHouston This is maybe the worst take I’ve ever seen you have.
This roster has been constructed specifically so that we can contend and play postseason basketball whilst still having our bright future, blowing it up would be the worst possible mistake this org could make.
@speakinmytht@RedDragn83@KlausNBA Just so far from the truth I won’t bother to explain to someone who didn’t watch rockets basketball before last year, half the posts I see when I click on your profile is just Alpi hate 😴
@RedDragn83@KlausNBA KD plays well vs good comp, it’s specifically physical+athletic teams he struggles with.
if they’re strong&slow he can get by them, they’re short he shoots over, but teams like okc&spurs have big, athletic and quick defenders and then you get some ugly games from him yeah
@sharpCircle17@woman505@ToshinRaizen2 If six eyes prevents residual cursed energy wasteage like yuta says it wouldn’t be outlandish to say that Ryu might not ever overheat if he had six eyes, or at least significantly less
@Ssj4RYOT@lonelycowboy92 Even if everything you say is true, to which I disagree, the simple fact that we don’t have another NBA PG on the roster (Reed wasn’t that) to manage the game and prevent us from choking up TO’s and wasting possessions means he’s very much a +contributor for our team.
@the_transit_guy@RatAlt64@Heminator No you want to be obtuse, people like you are exhausting to talk to, argue with grok if ya like, it thinks you’re full of shit
@ThereGoesRhodes@haelieos_rye@Harlan Thats fine, the more obvious they make it the easier they’d be to take down for it if that ends up being the case no?
@jerzmaster@MadManLeaks Depends entirely on how well Reed can guard this year i would imagine, if the muscle he put on makes a genuine difference then Thornton will prolly just play spot mins, but if it’s the same as last year i wouldn’t be surprised to see Ime using him a decent bit.
@TheHonorableVAR@lonelycowboy92 I will say on the jumpshot front, if he gets yelled at and benched for taking wide open threes that will never develop, and it’s on coaching staff.
In terms of his production vs the lakers I agree.
Both him and amen are genuinely good people and hard workers, I have faith.
@stfukhi This is largely fair criticism. Draymond was a really tough first playoff matchup (though dray said he was impressed with Sengun). but I hope he steps it up 100%.
@A2Slime@RedNationBlogga Difference is Sengun creates for his teammates as well, so whilst shooting wise they might not be far off like you say, overall offensive effectiveness leans Sengun, and neither are great defenders which you also already pointed to.
Sengun is ~top 15 in assist points overall.
@lncelotti@canplayson@stfukhi Either of them get a reliable jumper it’s over with, just have some faith, they’re already a solid young duo with arguably mismatched skills as it is, if teams can’t sag off either amen or Sengun on P&R it opens up everything for the other
@DrDoctavious +he’s the only player outside of reed and KD with a reliable pull-up 3 off of screens&handoffs with either Adams or Sengun, that’s a lot more valuable than most realize.
On top of being our overall best offensive decision maker and a player the young ones respect.
I’m hopeful.
