Stage 1 is officially complete for Rocco.

A few months ago, Rocco lost a leg. I knew nothing about prosthetics and had no idea where to even start, so I turned to Claude.

Every time something didn't work, I'd bring the results back to Claude. We'd figure out what went wrong, change the design, and try again.

After months of this, Rocco is finally standing on the first version of his new leg.

I genuinely don't think I could've figured this out without Claude.

It's not finished yet, but somehow an AI conversation turned into my dog standing on four legs again.

Today Spaghetti and Spider are having their X-rays.
We’re suspicious that this may be a painful genetic disorder rather than trauma.
I’ve only ever seen something similar once before, in a Mastin back in 2014, but it seems odd that it’s affecting the joints — mainly the same front right leg in both of them, although Spaghetti is showing some signs in the left as well.
They’ve both been on painkillers and, thankfully, are eating well.
Neither of them will walk on a lead and they really struggle with even basic interactions.

CHARM 💔 STRAY | SCARED & NOT FEELING WELL

Charm is scared. Really scared. 😭

When I approached her, she just looked at me with the biggest, saddest eyes and didn’t move. She froze in place, unsure of what was happening around her.

And that breaks my heart because scared dogs are so easily overlooked in shelters. A dog who freezes or shuts down isn’t showing us who she truly is—she’s showing us just how overwhelmed and frightened she feels. Shelter stress can make fearful dogs appear even more shut down than they might be outside of that environment.

Charm also doesn’t seem to be feeling well. I noticed small, circular scars on her head and irritation around her paws. She needs someone willing to look past the fear, get her the medical care she needs, and give her the quiet, safe environment where she can finally decompress.

🥺 Please don’t let Charm become another scared dog who runs out of time.

She needs a RESCUE, FOSTER, or ADOPTER willing to give this frightened girl a chance.
Someone please see those big eyes and tell Charm that her life is worth fighting for. ❤️‍🩹

Little Italia, the whippet-type dog we showed you yesterday, has already been reserved! 🥹❤️
We have received so many emails about little Italia that, unfortunately, we simply cannot answer them all individually.
We really hope you see this message and understand.
The good news is that we have more whippet-type dogs arriving soon. They won’t be as tiny as Italia, but they will be around 12–14 kg.
So please keep an eye out for our new arrivals, coming very soon.
