@centralnewsza South Africa’s population is currently estimated at about 63–65 million people. Foreign nationals, numbering roughly 3.1 million, therefore make up a relatively small. Why are you afraid?
@newslivesa Jacinta is talking nonsense. She said South Africa will be great again. South Africa has never been great. It remains one of the most unequal and racially divided countries in the world, and that racism has often spilled over into hostility and violence against African migrants.
@askghmedia I suspect there are deep divisions within the NDC government in Accra. Many of John Mahama’s interventionist policies are not what won the party the 2024 election. Samuel Ablakwa needs to explain one thing to Ghanaians: who is paying the bill—South Africa or Ghana?
@GhanaGOLDBOD Ghana should amend the GoldBod Act to completely sever its ties with the Bank of Ghana. Ghana’s gold is not for the Bank of Ghana. GoldBod resources should be used exclusively to finance infrastructure development and other long-term national priorities.
@tv3_ghana John Mahama should replace Bank of Ghana Governor Johnson Asiamah and Foreign Minister Samuel Ablakwa. Their interventionist policies have focused on supporting banks, importers, and South African business interests, while committing public resources to evacuation operations.
@AJEnglish John Mahama’s policies do not reflect the principles of social democracy. Instead, they appear increasingly centralized and interventionist. In 2025, the Bank of Ghana reportedly injected about $10 billion into the foreign exchange market to support the cedi.
@_PrinceAbabio_@cdrafrica Who do you think you are deceiving. Owusu Nkwantabisa was the Ashanti military general who led the Kumasi command in the attack against the Ga people in Katamanso. Come on Prince Ababio!
@thebankofghana Based on typical tropical forest yields, producing 952,000 cubic metres of timber could require harvesting between 6,300 and 19,000 hectares of forest—an area roughly equivalent to 63–190 square kilometres (24–73 square miles).
@weloveghana042 I am proud of the woman in this video for speaking up and giving a voice to what many Ghanaians quietly believe. Even the opposition is afraid to talk about it.
@xghana_ Where is John Mahama getting the money to fund these evacuations, and how much will they cost Ghanaian taxpayers? Is it reasonable for Ghana’s foreign policy to be shaped by the actions and threats of mobs? South Africa is not in a civil war and has a functioning government.
@thebankofghana Another $1.2 billion injected to prop up the cedi in June 2026—another subsidy for banks and importers. The question is: when will John Mahama start subsidizing the lives of ordinary Ghanaians instead?
