So, @netdatahq looks nice. I've been without a monitoring solution for a while now — didn't want to spend time setting one up. Currently doing some tests with a parent node streaming to their cloud. Excited to see that their "Anomaly advisor" will find. #homelab
The mystery seems to be solved — actually it was two things: the lack of VLAN egress filtering, as suspected. But the main culprit was RRCP broadcasts from my TL-SG108PE switch, or "Loop Prevention" as they call it. Disabled that and the 1 drops/s went away 🥳
Only took about a year to get the blog post published. Better late than never. Here is my @GoHugoIO#BunnyStream implementation 🤠 https://t.co/AdCQhzy1R6
I discovered last week that some of the videos on my blog didn't work, froze on my phone, and random CORS errors 🤷♂️ Down the rabbit-hole I went — looking for a video service, YouTube and Vimeo is out. I mainly looked at @MuxHQ and @BunnyCDN Stream.
I have tried @BunnyCDN Streams before, when it was in preview. It seems more polished now 🙂 I wrote about my previous video solution a few years ago. https://t.co/jZsAwmB16K
60 meter 6-strand single mode #fiber and SFP modules from @Ubiquiti. Going to pull the fiber in a buried conduit to the garage. @mikrotik_com CRS317-1G-16S+ in the #homelab and D-Link DGS-1210-10P in the garage. #networking
Using a #Shelly Plus Plug S to monitor the #homelab power — I got much better results using an #MQTT sensor than the integration in #HomeAssistant 🔌 https://t.co/Llaw5BvUCV
I solved my #wireguard problem — slow egress through my #mikrotik#chr. I was "working" with the @KagiHQ Assistant while troubleshooting. My first time using an AI assistant, I am fairly impressed 🙂 https://t.co/xW945gcMiT
Troubleshooting low throughput on @mikrotik_com CHR in my #homelab — I made an interesting discovery about interface queues, that had a big impact. https://t.co/Wit8faVbru
I'm using an old @Raspberry_Pi 2 and a DS18B20 probe to accurately measure outdoor temperature. Value is sent on #mqtt to @home_assistant, and displayed on our @dakboard digital calendar 👍
I’ve been using my HP ZBook 15 G5 #laptop a lot lately, but it annoyed me that I couldn’t tap the touchpad in i3. But fixing/enabling it was a breeze 🙂 https://t.co/mVO9W9R7F4
