@FilmThreat @ThatChrisGore Sorry, Chris, because they absolutely didn't skimp on CGI in Godzilla: it had the biggest polycount model ever animated in a movie, first use of photogrammetry, and a lot of effort was put into rendering that dark wetness. I think it was a creative decision to go with the rain.

@andersonmineral Not just the nostalgia, it had very strong linear path that placed life in chronological context... The museum in Prague does that so incredibly well, including bookend sections of fossil exhibits that explain how rocks from that era were used in the city...

@ponysmasher Sometimes things just don't go the way you wish they would. I thought #Shazam2 was great fun, there was hardly a moment that wasn't packed with something entertaining going on. I honestly thought it would do great at the box office. #itwasntthemovie that was at fault.
