About a decade ago I was at a master class in Sydney to see and learn from @VictorWooten. He invited a couple of audience members upfront to do a demo, and one guy just started showing off, and said "I just want to play your bass, man".

Looking through the daily job notices email, I came across this awful thing. It is advertised in the "Sydney region", but its a job in Adelaide, with a salary range of $800k, that encourages the applicant to withdraw from their super to purchase a house.

I once gave a guy a lift home. We were chatting about life when he mentioned he'd been recently been released from prison after 3 years.
I asked what he did:

"Oh, it was just a misunderstanding with my ex-wife over custody of our daughter".

I still wonder what he really did.
