Westminster goes into recess for Easter from 30th March until 17th April. SOS @chhcalling & @SteveBakerHW will come back to work as 1700 #ESF funded staff are losing theirs.

Plus without a published NI budget hundreds of #CommunityTransport workers will also be laid off.

By next Saturday, 1st April, 1700 staff who support people with disabilities into work, will no longer be employed to provide this vital service.

Another example of the real life consequences of a lack of government here. I’ve worked as a social worker in the Vol sector and know how precarious funding can be, but this is on a different level. These orgs, support, enable and compliment our NHS, we can’t let them flounder.

Some of you had raised issues with us about speeding- so we got speed checks done ✅

Rd surface was also raised with us so we are happy to say that the Kesh Rd defects noted for repair & Cockhill Rd is now on schedule of works ✅ 🙂
