@zbowling I’ve always thought it was more of a result of minimising any re-engineering or re-tooling - the package didn’t really change between generations and it was cheaper to just retrofit a rechargeable battery - even with all the compromises it brings.
This is where it’s at - artists using new AI tools to create …and also other artists licensing their digital voice / likeness / style before it’s too late 😂
I’m not sure about this - a book can be old, by a beloved crusty author of a certain temperament, with views of a certain time - but does it need to be cleansed?
In 1977, media prophet Marshall McLuhan discussed CIA and FBI surveillance, and then turned it into one of the most mind-bending riffs on identity in the digital age I've ever heard.
Well this is going to go down like a lead balloon. Subscriptions and then on top micro-charges for features - heated seats or colour sets - how many can consumers realistically support?
This is so ridiculous. Pantone colors are nothing but a list of numbers (as far as computers are concerned) and designers know this.
What Adobe & Pantone are doing here is saying “hey user, we think you are really dumb.”
Telling your users they are dumb is a big mistake.
