#VisitaPastorale #Lampedusa
The Trump Administration wanted Pope Leo XIV to visit the United States for our 250th anniversary.
Instead, he visited the Italian migrant island of Lampedusa and lifted up the plight of those who undertake a dangerous journey to new lands in search of a better future for their children.
Distinguished Columbia Univ. Prof. Jeff Sachs on what "from the river to the sea" means:
"Likud's founding charter says that from the river to the sea there will only be Israeli sovereignty... That's the formal program of the party that Netanyahu leads."
David Pocock pauses, overcome with emotion, while detailing UN’s horrific findings against Israel
“IDF has now killed 20,000 Palestinian children”
“…deliberately shot at children’s limbs…as a twisted game of target practice”😔
Barbaric & sickening. This is our ally?
The reason the world is upset with Israel is because of the 700,000+ innocent Palestinians they’ve murdered.
It’s not because they’re Jewish. Hope that helps.
What is Doug Ford hiding?
“The Ford government is officially shutting down a freedom of information request to access government calls on the premier’s personal cellphone records, formalizing a transparency clampdown it announced in March.” #onpoli

Israel is burning civilian homes in Beit Yahoun and Ayta el-Jabal, South Lebanon.
Not military targets.
Civilian homes. Families’ homes. Entire neighborhoods.
This is what Israel calls a “peace agreement.”
HOST: Do you think Trump is pro-Russian?
APPLEBAUM: I think he's pro-Putin. He admires leaders who have no checks and balances, who aren't part of democratic system, who are in control of the media.
He also had very long business relationship with Russians. They were among the most important investors in his apartments in the 1990s and 2000s.
He also has kind of idealized image of Russia. Funnily enough, I don't think it has anything to do with conservative values.
I think it's just because he likes this strongman ideal. And because he's grateful to Russians for having built his business, and maybe because he expects to do business with Russia in the future.
