The latest tide of escalation in state-backed, recurrent settler violence in the occupied West Bank is the direct, painfully inevitable outcome of Israel’s policies of annexation, ethnic cleansing and apartheid. It also lays bare the failure of the international community to take any meaningful measures against Israel’s unlawful occupation of the Palestinian territory beyond imposing sanctions on individual violent settlers. Protect Palestinian civilians, end Israel’s ethnic cleansing and occupation.
Kazakhstan Makes History with Landmark Soil Protection Law!
"Soil is not just dirt; it is a living entity" - this has been at the heart of the Save Soil movement. On 8 July 2026, it also became the foundation of a landmark law in Kazakhstan when President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev signed the country's first Law on Soil Protection, recognizing soil as an independent natural body and committing to its restoration, protection, fertility, and long-term monitoring 🪱🌏
The journey began in 2023, when Save Soil volunteer Alma set out to make a soil law a reality for Kazakhstan, inspired by the founder Sadhguru’s vision ✨
Working with scientists, FAO, the Ministries of Agriculture and Ecology, Majilis (Parliament) and the Senate, the Scientific, Technical and Policy teams at Save Soil helped provide scientific evidence and comparative policy analyses that supported the bill through four rigorous stages of review 📊
From the Senator's proposal, to the Prime Minister, to its final presidential approval, the law stands as a testament to what committed citizens, science, and policymaking can achieve together 💚🌱

With Netanyahu's visit to the White House today, a reminder: US authorities should respect human rights and the rule of law. PM Netanyahu should be arrested and tried by the International Criminal Court.
By 2050, up to 90% of Earth's soil could be degraded.
The good news? We already know the solution… Ensuring that soil has a minimum of 3-6% soil organic matter (based on regional conditions) is the way forward. 🌱

Mangrove ecosystems play a critical role in coastal protection, biodiversity, and long-term carbon storage. However, assessing their recovery after degradation or restoration has often been difficult because consistent measurement systems are lacking.
Researchers are now developing a soil health index designed specifically for mangrove environments. By tracking indicators such as carbon retention, nutrient cycling, and soil chemistry, this approach could help improve how restoration efforts are evaluated and managed.

To climate deniers:
You said it was a hoax when 18M hectares burned in Canada in 2023.
You ignored it when 2025 became Norway's hottest year ever.
Now forests above the Arctic are burning while Canada's smoke reaches Europe.
At what point will you reflect?
Italy and Tunisia, my two homes, are burning -some by criminal hand, some by a heat that knows no limits. This is the bill for our consumerism and tolerance of leaders who deny the climate crisis.
We and our children will burn.
Predatory elites will breathe conditioned air.
12 million hectares of topsoil are lost every year across the world. That's almost the size of the entire nation of Greece. (FAO, 2015) #SaveSoil https://t.co/LP7DIdOhth
7 minutes is a very small part of the day.
But inner balance can influence every other part of it.
Meditation is not about stepping away from life.
It is about learning to experience it with a little more space, clarity, and steadiness.
Miracle of Mind offers a simple 7-minute guided meditation by Sadhguru to begin.
