Very excited about our new findings by @Jack_Brougher et al., out today in @FrontNeurosci - Rats will self-stimulate for right (but not left) cervical VNS! Weird! https://t.co/c70h02D2Ur
Congratulations to Dr. @Jack_Brougher on his successful PhD thesis defense last Friday! Proud to have him as a Thorn Lab alum, and looking forward to all his future successes!
Congratulations to @Ching0__0 and the rest of the Thorn Lab team on the new paper out today in @SciReports! Cool story about alpha-2 noradrenergic signaling in VNS-driven cortical plasticity. Check it out: https://t.co/cwAyUwChEz
Just wanted to take a moment to recognize that #txlege just made it impossible to recruit and retain medical and scientific talent in TX. A disaster for economy & innovation, and of course public health.
@anne_churchland I didn't find data to answer your question, but I did find this article about course-related CTs - importantly, with grading rubric! https://t.co/5Bo7Sisnji
@anne_churchland Personally, I hate them. Partly b/c I'm not much of a talker, but mostly-and others have made this point better-b/c of the lack of clear standards by which a candidate is being judged.
