@2010brianwilson Bro I know it’s annoying but I’m fucking excited, I’m watching the greatest edits of a team I’ve never seen go this far in my life beamed from space to my phone and I gotta share it to the whoever still cares enough in my life to still view my ig stories. It’ll be okay.
Great time to buy in. I’m enjoying the NYK run as a New Yorker, yet I am hopeful that the crosstown rivalry will elevate the Nets program.
Barclays and MSG are two separate places trying to achieve under very different historical franchise circumstances.
Sounds like a Mr Giannis may be coming soon. Things can change fast.
So weird people have a problem w/ people from Buffalo being a Knicks fan because they’re a NYC based team… that’s like saying anyone that resides out of Buffalo can’t be a Bills fan. 🙄 y’all have a problem with everything.
@DanClarkSports That’s cuz every other city besides NY, Philly, and Boston does not have communal gathering places to celebrate (or go too far)
Hard for things to get too rowdy when you’re standing outside of your arena miles from the city center trying to find your uber.
New Nets fans arrived in NY(and/or America) in the last 15 years.
The midwestern-NY transplant class that bought in under the Kyrie, Harden, and KD run are mostly walking their allegiances back.
The rest are split between the NJ legacy fans remaining, and those that live in Brooklyn who enjoy the experience for cheaper entry prices than MSG.
Nets fans are quieter, usually less visible on social media.
What I enjoyed about our godawful team this year was sitting in nice seats, the live entertainment during commercial breaks and the Barclays Center.
Whether the Knicks win or not (im a nets fan) New York city is the best city in the world by a landslide. No city has this energy. No city can even come close
