A relative of mine just received this text from her friend earlier. Makes my fuckin blood boil 😡😡😡

“The Ukraine girl that works here with us flew back to her war-torn country last Friday to visit her husband and her 2 children (ages 12 and 15) for Christmas! She is here with about 8-10 other women that are on the same gravy train. Came over with kids originally. Claimed children's allowance, sent them to school here etc. Sent them back home to their husbands then to go to school back in Ukraine. Another lady that works with me here knows of more of them that are working in different places with her cousins and sister. They all called in sick to work last Tuesday, including our lady so they could present themselves at the post office to collect their double social welfare payments. They don't pay rent, they get wages for working full time, get children's allowance, €20 for 6 months phone credit, €2000 towards a car if they live outside town so they not isolated, no car tax or insurance, pay no tax only USC... They are actually laughing about it. Seriously this is so wrong ain't it. She was able to move to a house from enniscorthy to Gorey in 3 days after getting a job here.
